Solid keyboard and works great. Read more
Very well made; easy to set up and connect; feels smooth when typing; well packaged; easy-to-follow instructions; can connect up to three devices happy with this product; I especially like the silicon protector that covers the keypad. Read more
This keyboard is not and is not as expensive as OEM mac keyboards. It does the job and I actually like how well it works. Right out of the box, the keyboard does have a silicone cover to protect the keyboard. Honestly it still has the same flaws as any clear silicone which is it will yellow overtime from just sun and such so just note that. The keys are not too hard to type on. You could technically game with it just I would not really suggest that. I did try this on differnet macs and so far it has done pretty well from High Sierra to Big Sur to Monterey. The keyboard is able to be used with all the different mac controls which is nice. You can connect up to three devices via blue tooth. You can easily switch between the different devices although I did find it did have problems waking up the mac. The connection is solid and can go a good distance before having connection issues. I was able to sit across my TV with this keyboard. This can be a good alternative for mac users who do not really care about the color of the keyboard as it does not exactly fit a mac color. This is definitely not as pricey and it still works pretty well in terms of typing and response. It is nice to have an easier time with number pad but the keys could be a bit better. It tries to mimic the mac keyboard which are not that great in my opinion. It does have a backlit keys. The battery life on this is really good and does not require too much recharging. You can use it while it is recharging. It can also be connected directly to the computer you want to use it with if needed. In terms of size, it is about the same as the mac keyboard (in thickness and length). The keyboard itself is about the size of a standard directional and number pad section of a keyboard. Pairing this device is pretty simple. You just open up your system preference and bluetooth, press and hold the pair button until it lights up, and select the device on the mac. It does turn on and off on its down to save power. I do like that you can easily switch outputs and it actually does work with ipads. It can work with PC although you may have to get used to the different options. It does last for a long time on the built in battery. I did not see any issues with it running low as of yet. The casing is aluminum so it is durable and the keyboard is a solid build. Back to the distance, I have seen the device go about ten to thirteen feet before it loses connection. The keyboard does have a little weight due the aluminum but it is still light so you could take this with you on the go if you wanted but it will not fit in most bags as it is a long keyboard. Overall this keyboard is not bad. I would say this is a good budget keyboard for a mac. It is durable and is the standard keyboard size. I did not see much issue with response or connection. I do like that you can still use the USB dongle to connect to this while keeping bluetooth as well. It is comfortable to type on this keyboard and the battery life is pretty good. The silicone cover is nice but honestly it gets visibly dirty easily and is hard to maintain. The keys could be better built in my opinion. Read more

I picked up the ProtoArc K110-A because I wanted a full-size wireless keyboard that felt at home on my Mac Studio M1 Max without costing Magic Keyboard money. This one checked almost every box I cared about: aluminum frame, backlighting, multi-device Bluetooth, quiet scissor keys, and a clean Mac layout. After using it daily, it fits into my setup so naturally that it feels like it should’ve shipped with the Mac in the first place. Typing on it feels great. The low-profile scissor switches have that soft, precise feel I expect from a well-made Mac keyboard, but with a bit more travel and a slightly more satisfying bounce. I can type for long stretches without hand fatigue, and the keys stay consistent across the board — no mushy spots, no rattling, no odd resistance. It has the kind of “quiet but confident” key feel that makes it easy to settle into a work rhythm. Connectivity has been reliable. The three Bluetooth channels make switching between devices simple, and the keyboard wakes instantly with no lag or reconnect drama. I use it with my Mac Studio, an iPad, and occasionally my MacBook, and it never struggles to keep up or decide which device it belongs to. The battery life has also been excellent; with backlighting set to a reasonable level, I rarely need to charge it. The backlighting is subtle and clean — just soft white LEDs that illuminate the legends without bleeding all over the board. It’s perfect for nighttime work, especially since the keycaps use a familiar Mac layout that doesn’t take any relearning. The build itself is solid, with an aluminum top plate that feels like a premium upgrade over the typical plastic keyboards in this price range. Functionally, it fits my Mac Studio perfectly. The shortcuts map correctly, the media controls work, and the overall experience feels intentionally Mac-first rather than “Mac compatible by chance.” It genuinely feels like part of the ecosystem, not a third-party workaround. The only thing it doesn’t have — and the only thing I wish it did — is a built-in fingerprint sensor. If this keyboard had Touch ID, it would be absolutely flawless for my setup. As it stands, I still love using it, but reaching over to the Mac Studio for authentication is the one reminder that this isn’t an Apple keyboard. Everything else about it hits exactly what I wanted: smooth typing, reliable Bluetooth, a premium feel, and compatibility that doesn’t need constant tinkering. For my Mac Studio M1 Max, it’s been the perfect fit — just missing that one feature Apple keeps locked behind their own boards. Read more
