Very easy to get used to quickly, simple and modest design, much less fatigue or pain
It's a bit hard to write a review about an item that requires you to learn new habits, because the initial difficulty tempts a person to feel a bit of negativity. But I give this keyboard 5 stars because after you spend some time with it and learn those new habits, it lives up to its claims as an ERGONOMIC keyboard. I've used traditional keyboards since the mid 1980s and am very used to them. For much of that time it was professional and I sat at a typical desk. I paid attention to chair height, etc. and never consciously felt the ergonomics left anything to be desired, even though I half-consciously considered extended sessions with setups like that to cause upper body pain. But these days I spend less time at a computer and so I tend to use a keyboard in my lap while in an easy chair or curled up on my bed. At those times, a standard keyboard can end up causing noticeable discomfort, especially in my wrists, shoulders, and neck. So I've sort of half-heartedly tried some ergonomic keyboards and even when giving them a chance by using them for a few days, they all fell a bit short. In my opinion, many of the ones I've tried exaggerate the modifications such as the non-traditional angles or split orientation. Adjustable ones are better, but often the weird angles are a bit TOO weird. Although this keyboard isn't perfect, it's more modest and feels much more natural after just a couple of days of use. You can adjust the pitch of the angle with the legs on the back. And the design of the keys is simple - no extra keys to have to figure out. The placement is pretty traditional, which helps get used to it. I know that everyone is a bit different, so not everyone may adapt as well to this keyboard as I have. But the angle of the split keyboard is very comfortable for me, especially when sitting in a chair or in my bed. They touch of the keys is easy to get used to, and the layout is comfortable to me. I wouldn't exactly call it a "mini" keyboard because it's pretty much full-sized. But it's definitely a bit more compact than traditional keyboards and easier to manage. And of course, the wireless aspect is great! It's also very nice that this keyboard can be used easily with Macs or PCs and other devices without any extra effort. It's well-designed. And in the end, the most important thing is that longer sessions while using this keyboard don't result in nearly as much physical fatigue or pain as traditional keyboards.
