If you need a super low budget gaming headset, look no further. I haven’t had a headset for gaming because I just didn’t feel like spending the money for something I’d barely use, as I’m at best a casual gamer, but I got covid and was stuck home for a few weeks so I decided to pull the trigger. Of course, I refused to pay 20 bucks or more, so I did my amazon homework and stumbled upon these black n orange bad boys for $14.99. I was skeptical at first because it just seemed too good to be true. These didn’t have many reviews yet, despite having a 5 star rating and other headsets at the same price either seemed inferior in quality/build or had mixed reviews. I took the gamble figuring I’d just return them if any issues, but have been so far, surprisingly impressed. For a barebones entry-level headset, this one checks off all the boxes. Besides the standard features, the design and build is solid and not janky at all. The padding in the ears is very comfortable and breathable. I’ve played for hours with minimal if any ear fatigue. The stereo effect works perfectly and a couple of friends have confirmed that they can hear me clearly when I speak through the mic. I’m not sure if the sound quality is a solid 5 seeing as how I haven’t tried anything “better”, but for what I’ve used them for I couldn’t be happier. The noise cancellation is almost too good. I have to constantly check that I’m not yelling when in the middle of a heated match. 😂 My one and only criticism with this product is the mic switch. Sometimes I find myself fumbling with it or forgetting I’m muted altogether. Mic swivel up to mute would be better, but at this price, I’m in no position to complain. Read more

I just received these this morning. At first, sounded weirdly mid range heavy, and a bit hollow. But then after my ears started getting used to them, they're not too bad. However the microphone sounds exceptionally clean. So that's a plus. The cord is fabric, and not just plastic, which I like alot. The in-line mute switch and volume dial is in a pretty big casing, but I can work with that. Adapter for pc comes with it, which is really cool as I play on both console and pc. I would never say these will replace your Astros, or replace your 100+ dollar hyperx or Turtle Beach headsets. Not at all. But what I WILL say, is that for the price point these babies are at, it's absolutely a steal. They're what I'd describe as "mid range, average or mediocre sound quality with a good clean microphone, and quite comfortable still, even after playing with them for 4+ hrs" The choice of my 4 star rating instead of a 5 is for the not super crisp sound quality, but because of the price of these bad boys they deserve I'd say a 4.5 if I could give that. This is the best budget headset i have ever bought. Considering the price, sound and features it is not even close. The sound is absoletly incredible. The features are great. It has on/off switch(not all budget mics offer this), great padding which makes it very comfortable, a long chord, and cool design on the head set itself. The headset itself is of high quality and appears that it will last a long time. The only complaint is the mic is not the best. Being in xbox parties with others, my voice as someone put it "sounds like you are talking through a trash can". However, they can clearly understand me, and there is no echo common amoung cheaper mics. Again considering the price, and little time i do spend in xbox parties, this is the budget headset to buy. I bought these for my son but use them for myself and he uses his cheesy "switch" styled ones (I think they are the PDP ones). These have a higher volume and I do like the sound quality compared to others Ive used before. The mic works great. Sometimes when I play Fortnite (yes Im an adult that plays) my friends say they hear echoing but it doesnt happen all the time and only happens on Fortnite.... so I dont think its me but they think it is. IDK. For me though, they work great and fit well. They are tight around my head and ears so it seals off other sounds around me. I really like these...
