I bought this stand for my PS5 because I wanted to keep everything more organized while also improving the console's ventilation. I've been using it for a few weeks now and am quite satisfied so far. Advantages: • Full compatibility: It works perfectly with my standard PS5, and I also tried it with a friend's Slim, and it fit without a problem. • Powerful ventilation: The fans really help keep the console cool during long gaming sessions. You can notice the temperature drops a bit when it's on. • Fast and convenient charging: I can charge two controllers at the same time, and the LED indicators show you when they're ready. • RGB design: The LED lights give it a very aesthetic gaming touch. You can leave them on or turn them off if you don't like them. • Organization: It has space to store controllers, the console, and even games, all in one place. Ideal for keeping your gaming area tidy. Read more

My husband has the OG first PS5 that rolled out, and even though we've tried our best to keep it clean and dust free it started overheating and turning off when he downloaded the newest Ark game. I bought this for him on a whim and its completely stopped the overheating problem. It makes for great airflow and gives the internal fan a bit of a break. The LED lights aren't overly bright and distracting, just a slight bit of color thats nice to look at. The controller chargers work well too, and it keeps everything in one spot with the headphone rest, which is my favorite part. Amazing product for the price Read more

With added cooling for the console, this will extend the life of the console by keeping heat at bay and increases the lifespan of the internal fan. The controller chargers, USB charger and headset are all good conveniences when the console is shutdown and keep a central location for all your peripherals. Good buy if you own at PS5. Read more

I got this to use with my son’s PS5 and it works pretty well. It cools the unit down well and gives you a place to store your headset and your controllers can be also be charged here. The design helps keep your gaming area free from clutter and looks nice especially with the led lights it has. It fit his PlayStation just fine as well. Read more

It seems like a good design, but it's actually the opposite. When you screw the PS5 on to this base, it completely seals the entire bottom off from open air. The entire base is literally sealed other than the vent in the back which means that the hot air blowing into the base has nowhere to go unless the fans are turned on to exhaust it out of the base. This means that if there is a failure in the fan, then you are literally trapping all of the hot exhaust. Furthermore, the fans don't turn on when the console turns on. So you have to go to the console every time you turn on the ps5. No more turning on the console via the controller. Because if you do that, the fans won't be on and again you will be trapping hot exhaust. To recap: The PS5’s cooling system is designed to rely on an open environment for proper heat dissipation. Trapping heat in a sealed area undermines the console’s cooling efficiency. 1. Sealed Base with Limited Venting: • By sealing the base and relying on fans to exhaust air, you’re creating a situation where proper airflow depends entirely on those fans working correctly. If the fans fail, hot air could accumulate, potentially leading to overheating. 2. Manual Fan Activation: • Having to manually turn on the fan every time is inconvenient and could lead to forgetting to activate it. This increases the risk of running the PS5 in a poorly ventilated environment. 3. Controller Power-On Limitation: • Losing the convenience of turning on the PS5 with the controller can be frustrating and disrupt your gaming experience. 4. Long-Term Fan Reliability: • If the built-in fan malfunctions, replacing or repairing it could be challenging. A passive cooling setup (one that doesn’t rely entirely on additional fans) is generally safer for ensuring consistent airflow. A properly designed stand shouldn’t create additional risks for the hardware. The fact that this base traps hot air unless the fan is manually activated makes it a poorly thought-out design.
