At first, I have waited for about 2 years to buy PS5. It was sold out very fast back in 2020 due to high demand, but also not willing to buy it from scalpers which they tend to rip people off! Two years later, I just immediately click accept invitation, got an email for about 2 days, then I immediately ordered PS5 Digital Edition (bundled with God of War: Ragnarok digital voucher code). I was very happy that I finally got my hands on PS5 console for the first time. As a matter of fact, I have bought a new console since I originally owned PS2 console way back in 2002. Anyhow, I just received it, and it took about 4 days to ship and deliver to my address. Well protected, excellent packaging, everything is intact. I have not experienced any graphical artifacts so far and it's working flawlessly. I was eagerly anticipated to play God of War Ragnarok for the first time. Good graphics, good story line, control schemes, everything. It runs silky smooth 4k 60fps. Very responsive, input lag was excellent. It comes with the following list: -Regular DuelSense Controller -PS5 (digital free version) -GoW: Ragnarok (Digital voucher code to redeem it via PSN) -AC Plug -User's manual -HDMI Cable However, it does not include Ethernet cable which you need to buy it separately. In addition, it does not come with DuelSense Charging Station which is absolutely a must buy to recharge your controller without a hassle. There's also no Optical/TosLink connection which unfortunately I had to plug in 3.5mm Headphone Jack to get the audio working, but it is working fine. Of course, you can always by aftermarket splitter adapter to use the external output such as receiver, speakers, etc. Other than that, it runs glorious, silky smooth 4k 60fps in most games such as The Last of Us Part 1 & 2, God of War: Ragnarok, Marvel's Spider-Man, Miles Morales, The Evil Within 2, etc. Of course, you will need to have capable 4k 120Hz Monitor/TV to enable HDR as well as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), regardless game title. All in all, it was definitely worth the purchase and I highly recommended this product! Read more

I've had my PS5 Digital Edition for over a week now and I'm very impressed with it. The DualSense controller is a revelation in gaming immersion. In games that support haptic feedback, vibrations in the DualSense are based specifically on what's happening onscreen. Reloading a revolver in Borderlands 3? You'll feel a series of small, targeted vibrations that correspond perfectly with the reloading animation on your screen. The adaptive triggers are excellent as well. I don't have any experience with real guns, so I can only guess that the small bit of resistance every time I fire Jesse Faden's gun in the PS5 version of Control must be based on the way it feels to pull a real trigger. It all makes for an unprecedented tactile experience. Beyond that, playing games on the PS5 in Performance Mode is fantastic. I've been playing in this mode on a 1080p television with nothing but crisp visuals and smooth gameplay. God of War Ragnarok (the game that was included with this bundle) looks especially nice. I imagine the Resolution Mode is good for people who have 4K televisions, but the smoothness of Performance Mode is where it's at for me. Because this is an all-digital console, I recommend buying extra storage for it in the form of a supported NVMe SSD with a heatsink included. I went with the WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X, but go with whichever one feels right to you. To me, the PS5 looks nice without that awkward disc drive bulge on one side. If you care about your console's aesthetics, the PS5 Digital Edition is the way to go. This isn't impacting my score, but one important thing I want to mention is that when I received my PS5, it looked like the box had been previously opened and then returned. Everything inside was in pristine condition and the God of War Ragnarok code was unused, so no harm done. I'm guessing that somebody accidentally ordered the Digital Edition or were accidentally sent it when they had really wanted the PS5 with a disc drive. But Amazon probably should have listed the PS5 I received as Used, Like New instead of New. I'm saying all of this to tell you to be careful when receiving a PS5 from Amazon. When you open that shipping box, make sure that what's inside is a new console. If there are signs that it's been previously opened, then make sure that the console and everything that came with it is accounted for, unused, and undamaged. Read more
