These boxer briefs for boys are made of moisture wicking material with a firm elastic band. It's a quality product with sizes ranging from small to large. Our biggest problem with this item was the packaging. It arrives in a plastic pouch with a Ziploc type opening. That opening was extremely difficult to pry open. I almost had to use scissors to open it if not for my last attempt. A cutting tool might be needed for parents and guardians with dexterity issues in order to extricate this singular pair of boxers. If you can afford to buy these, then these are great boxer briefs. I am a big fan of these premium type boxers, whether it is PSD or Stance brands. The material and fit is very nice. Here are the measurements for the Large size: Waist laying flat: 11.4" across Total length: 13" Top of waist to bottom of crotch: 8" They are quite long, so might not work very well if the kid is wearing very short athletic shorts.
