These shorts have roomy zippered pockets, one in rear for carrying wallet and two on the sides for cell phone, keys, etc. If you don't care for the look of orange rubber pulls on zippers they can be easily removed (which I did). There are a few drawbacks. The back pocket is very hard to get a wallet out of. I go to a gym and need to carry drivers license and such with me. The front pocket zipper is hard to close with one hand, have to hold the shorts with several fingers and pull up the zipper part way. Repeating this till the zipper is closed. Read more
