I’m not even kidding, these have been the BEST shoes I bought my middle schooler this year. They are super comfy, but more than that, they are durable and have lasted almost 6 months of straight wear, and he’s hard on shoes. And they’re still in great shape! I bought these shoes because I like the contrast of blue and black. They also were supposed to be very cushioning for when you walked. I stand and walk all day at work so that was exactly what I was looking for. After one week of wearing them at work, I developed shin splints. The only thing I had done differently was wear these shoes. I stopped wearing them for a week and a shin splints went away. I put them back on and they began getting them again. Thankfully my husband was able to wear them and so they didn't go to waste. We did however discover that they are much more comfortable to wear without laces. The price point also makes it so the material is not as durable as one would expect and after about 2 months of pretty rigorous wear, the soles had been worn through and holes were letting water in. They are now relegated to in-house use only or short walks around the block in nice weather. That said without laces they are comfortable and I mistakenly worn them to work recently. I didn't develop any of the shin splint problems now but they are way too slippery and do not stay on as well as they should so they are not suitable for wearing it work now. I would tell any buyer looking to buy these in the future, don't expect a long-lasting product and make sure that the support is right before you leave the house wearing them. I'm not sure exactly what the return policy is on shoes but most places if you wear them outside they're unreturnable. They would however work well if you just wanted to wear them occasionally for the look. Read more
