This set is heavy duty and well made, but I think maybe a bit pricey.

When I first received these resistance bands from Iron Bull Strength and I saw exactly what they were they sat on my floor in the bag for a month. I had just finished 24 PT sessions to build up my strength post back surgery. I was expecting the kind of bands they had at PT which are thin, so I didn't know how to use these bands. Recently I googled "exercises you can do with resistance bands" and I found quite a few. There is one particular site that has seven different stretches you can do and it's a workout. The stretches are Hamstring Stretch, Inner Thigh Stretch, Lying Hip Stretch, Upper Back Stretch, Chest Stretch, Side Stretch, and Kneeling Quad Stretch. I use the yellow and black bands for now but am hoping to work my way up as I get stronger. You get five different bands, and each one has a resistance weight range which is clearly printed on the band. They come in a nice bag for storage when you're not using them. I'm thinking these aren't a good value at the price point they are at right now. At the time of this review this set of bands is just under $50. I did find a few comparable sets for less, but I don't know if they are quality made, heavy duty or as thick as these are. I was going to take a star off for the value, but I really don't know how they compare to others so I don't think that would be fair. I just recommend really doing your research before purchasing this set. Read more

Resistance bands

Fantastic set of resistance bands for home workouts. The range of resistance levels makes them ideal for beginners through advanced users. They’re thick, durable, and don’t roll or snap under tension. Great for stretching, pull-up assistance, and strength training. A must-have addition to any home gym. Read more

Good bands for light workout

These are nice bands and appropriate for a light workout. They are fabric bands and are all of the same size and length. They are available in fabric or latex. The fabric bands are a lot lighter and great for travel. They big difference between the latex and fabric bands is the latex provides you with a lot more range of motion and “stretch”. Also as you stretch the latex bands the resistance significantly increases. Fabric bands tend to have a more even and gradual resistance as you stretch them. Latex bands can be a bit “grippy” and can get hung up on equipment, clothing and even a hard floor. The fabric bands tend to slide around a lot better on all surfaces. Overall these are nice bands especially if you want to pack some of them for a trip as they are light and easy to take with you for a light workout. I’ve provided a photo of the fabric vs. latex. If you are looking for a workhorse band go with the latex, if you want a lighter workout go with the fabric. Read more

Well-Made Materials, But Impractical Length and Very Light Resistance

As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I look for both quality and function. Out of the package, the materials of these bands are quite good. They feel durable, the latex is cleanly cut, and they don't have the flimsy, sticky feel of some cheaper bands. I have no immediate concerns about them snapping during normal use and their easy to grip since they're a circle. However, the functional design and resistance levels are where this set falls short for me. I am a large, strong individual, so while I expected the lighter bands to be easy, I found that even the "heaviest" band in this set offered very little resistance for foundational exercises (like rows, presses, or curls). This problem is made worse by the bands' length. They are quite long, which means you have to stretch them a significant distance before any real tension kicks in. To get a challenging workout, I had to double or even triple-loop the bands or spend a lot of time adjusting my position to find a "sweet spot" where the resistance was immediate. This constant adjustment is a pain and interrupts the flow of a workout. While the marketing photos show highly-conditioned athletes, the resistance offered here is not what gets you there. This set seems far more appropriate for high-rep toning, stretching, physical therapy, or perhaps for an absolute beginner. For anyone with a solid strength base, or for those looking for a single, heavy band for significant pull-up assistance, this set will likely feel underpowered. It's a "fine" product, but the "meh" performance means it's not one I would personally reach for. Note: I only give 5 stars if something is truly special or 5 star worthy for something that is above and beyond with no apparent drawbacks. 4 stars is a great rating from me. 3 is: the product is fine but meh. 2 or less I'm not happy and I'll explain why. Happy hunting! Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2025 Vine Customer Review of Free Product Read more

High Quality Rubber Bands, Exactly as Expected

These resistance bands are very high quality and feel durable with smooth, consistent tension through the full range of motion. I received the actual rubber bands shown in the listing, not the fabric version that some other reviewers mentioned, which was a relief. Each band has a solid build and feels sturdy during exercises like pull-ups, rows, and stretching, giving great support without feeling flimsy or overly stretchy. The set offers a good range of resistance levels, making it useful for mobility work, warm-ups, strength training, and assisted bodyweight exercises. Overall, this is a professional-grade band set that performs exactly as expected and provides excellent value for the quality. Read more

Heavy duty, a nice change from all the rubber bands.

I didn't realize these were cloth bands when I ordered them but what a pleasant surprise. They are really robust and heavy duty and because they aren't rubber they are my go to for pull-up assistance or anything that requires a lot of tension without the fear of them snapping and poking an eye out. They are really a nice find in the resistance band space. Read more
