This is HANDS down the best odor and stain remover I’ve ever used in my entire life. We’ve been having some issues with our dog and our cream colored carpets didn’t stand a chance until I found this product. I was so impressed by how well a natural cleaner worked. I had to use a woolite option while waiting on my delivery (we had an asap mishap and ran out of product) and it literally bleached my carpet AND the chemical smell still lingers. We bought the shampoo too. Great pleasant smells that are super light and don’t take over the house. The only thing I don’t love is the bottle, it’s not designed to help you use the last fourth of the bottle. Also, can we get a refill on this one? Read more

I finally broke down and purchased this because I am always looking for a way to bring fewer synthetic products into our home. For years I have been a staunch advocate that Shout Advanced for set-in stains has been the ONLY stain remover that works. My husband gets stains from everything on his work shirts and I often end up re-washing to try and treat stains to get them out before. Food, drinks, oil, grease, dirt, pen, you name it, he gets it on his shirts. Every so often though, the Shout Advanced will totally fail at removing a stain which means replacing the work shirt. And every so often it will remove a stain, but also leech some of the color from where I sprayed it on the shirt (even though past times it was perfectly colorfast) because of the mix of the Shout and whatever gunk makes up the stain. I've tried other brands like Oxy (okay), Carbona (okay as well), Grandma's Secret Spot Remover (didn't work on anything), Seventh Generation (meh), and more, but kept coming back to Shout Advanced. I kept seeing Puracy on all those BuzzFeed "you have to try this" lists, so I figured why not. WHY DIDN'T I TRY THIS SOONER????? This stain spray has worked wonders! No more treating a stain half a dozen times. For almost every single stain, it's treat once and done. I don't have to worry that the stain will end up set in forever if someone puts the laundry in the dryer before I get a chance to pull a shirt and check to see if the stain is still there. Ninety-five percent of the time, Puracy remove the stain. The other 5% is when it's a difficult stain, like filthy, gross, gear lubricant, and then I use the Shout Advanced as well and it more often than not comes out after a second washing. For pet stains (we have bulldog that likes to wipe his slobbery chin on everything knee-height and below after he has breakfast or dinner), this stain remover is excellent as well. So yes, most of the five star reviews for this product are probably real and not bots. It stinks that you can't trust much of anything online anymore when it comes to reviews, which is why I didn't order this sooner. How often does anything anymore REALLY work the miracles its reviews claim it does? I am thrilled that this isn't a product that falls into the category of "Well, got suckered in by that one", but instead is "Holy cow, this product actually DOES work!!!" It makes me want to try the other cleaning products in the Puracy line in the hopes they work as well or even better than the stain treatment does. Read more

Being chemically sensitive has many downsides including making cleaning one's clothes & house & body extra challenging as most products that avoid harmful chemicals or don't have a strong smell are rarely very effective. I thus gave up on trying to find a stain remover many years ago but in rebuilding my health I found I was able to now handle using some Clorox bleach for tough stains. The huge help a rapid & powerful stain fighter brings is so huge vs. endless scrubbing with little impact. However, I kept wishing I could find a non-toxic alternative both for its impact on the environment as well as myself. Thus I tried a few other very highly rated stain removers & was about to give up trying due to each time finding they bring too strong a smell &/or don't work that effectively until this product's great reviews & ingredients made me decide to give it 1 final try. I AM SO GRATEFUL & IMPRESSED THAT THEY WERE ABLE TO COME UP WITH SUCH AN EFFECTIVE NATURAL STAIN REMOVER that works amazingly well for all kinds of tough stains. All it takes is planning ahead so you can give it time to soak for 30 minutes before then either hand washing or throwing it in the washing machine & almost everything comes out like magic so far. This makes it way better than bleach once the environmental & health impacts are factored in & given the added benefit that this can be used on any colour. 6/5/15 UPDATE - I'M EVEN MORE IMPRESSED WITH THIS NATURAL STAIN REMOVER as I just used it successfully to remove some dirt stains from a microfiber cloth used to clean my car windows. Before discovering this stain remover only extensive soaking in undiluted bleach would remove such dirt including when I tried using the fragrance-free Oxi-Clean Baby Stain Remover that had many positive reviews yet left the stains almost untouched. SO GIVEN THEIR TOTALLY NATURAL & ECO-FRIENDLY INGREDIENTS, THEIR EFFECTIVENESS & EASE OF USE IS EXTRA IMPRESSIVE IN THAT NO SCRUBBING OR ANYTHING WAS NEEDED - the stains had just dissolved away by the end of their recommended 30 minute soaking time & without any toxic fumes which makes it extra awesome.
