I like these pillows, one is just perfect to lay my head on. What I like is, unlike the unnatural materials ones is that they do feel a bit sturdier like they really can provide support for your head and neck. I hate those pillows that are so soft a piece of paper could flatten them, plus they usually are made from fibers that make you very hot. I believe my quality of sleep has improved with these pillows, as does my partner. Its subtle but the effect is noticeable. Waking up with neck aches is a thing of the past. She even sleeps on her front sometimes and no neck issues. Definitely recommend these pillows especially if you want something a bit sturdier and supportive, and you don't like foam. I don't know what it is with foam ones, often they are smaller, so your pillow slips flop around. These are full size so that problem is also gone. You can see the quality with these pillows, the fabric and stitching is very good. Read more

I've used this pillow now for about a week. I did have the other name-brand pillow that I just couldn't seem to get adjusted properly. I was waking up with a headache nearly every day, especially in the back of my head. Well, no headache since I've used this pillow. I will tell you that they are quite hefty and not what you might think a feather/down pillow would be. The covers on these pillows are thick and are 100% cotton so I don't foresee feathers sticking out any time soon. They were as flat as a pancake when they arrived and I just put them in the dryer on cool for a few minutes and they fluffed right up. The quality is wonderful and the price for 2 couldn't be beat. They give great support no matter if I'm side-sleeping or back-sleeping. Read more

As a child growing up we had goose feather /down Pillows that were hand made with the classic striped ticking...these pillows are reminiscent of them! When I received them, they were hermetically vacuum sealed in plastic and rolled up, admittedly genius packaging job, two fit into a nice suitcase style box. After reading all the negative reviews of this product being too soft, I was concerned because I have gravitated to more firm pillows in the past, and have shelled out $$$s to buy “the next best thing” to come to the sleep industry because the older I am the less well I have been sleeping...:( I have owned two “My Pillows” that I didn’t purchase and while only “ok” I found them hot to sleep on and not firm enough. I have two buckwheat hull Pillows that are nearly perfect for the firmness and nature sourced materials right down to the covers, but washing them becomes an all day project because you must remove the hulls first and then put them back in afterwards...adjusting firmness to your preference. Somewhat noisy, but not a game changer because if I’m exhausted enough I can sleep on a rock, but all that changed with my Hemorrhagic Stroke 4 years ago. Since then, I have developed a common ailment to some stroke survivors that is known as vertigo which is hell if you have it and it was getting worse...my Doctor suggested a change of pillow to something less firm from the buckwheat hulls I have been using...I have used expensive memory foam pillows promising “stays cool” technology that didn’t live up to that hype, with a memory that was too good and felt as if I was being ejected off the pillows ultimately leaving me with a kink in my neck that hurt! Then I remembered Pillows that I had slept on at the hotel in Lake Lure, NC where “Dirty Dancing” was filmed, and they were Down filled, natural and wonderfully comfortable, as were the mattresses (Jennifer Gray room). So armed with my MD’s instructions to change, and I am not a fan of change, I dove in and went with these pillows and so far so good. For side sleeping One is adequate and It didn’t require lots of fussing with, just give it a shake, holding it at the end and voila! Comfy pillow for this side sleeper. I have both piled up as I write this review and the elevation is fine for that purpose but for sleep, one suffices for me. As some of the reviewers recommended, I put each individual Pillow into the clothes dryer on low for 15 minutes to fluff it and it was fine. I have pillow protectors on each of them and the function of the gusset is not impeded. I also have a queen pillow case on the pillows and still no problem! I think I may have my answer in this product! I Just woke from a refreshing nap using one pillow and after all the snow shoveling I have done over the last 24 hours due to the “cyclone bomb” in the Northeast, I may be exhausted enough to sleep on a rock. If my opinion changes I will return to adjust this review, but I don’t think that will be necessary! “Happy Camper” so far! Returning a week later to say emphatically that I am absolutely overjoyed that I bought these pillows! Still in Love and sleeping well🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 Read more

These are extremely hard and WAY WAY WAY TOO OVERFILLED. If you want your chin to touch your chest while sleeping on your back, then these are great. Caused terrible neck & jaw pain & stiffness, after only a week. I did give it PLENTY of time to fluff up. Several days before i used it. Fluffing them and moving the feathers around, because they were stuck together in huge slabs of what felt like cardboard. However after several days of fluffing and letting them sit out without use that eventually went away and the feathers were separated…I tried everything to make these work and feel like actual feather pillows are supposed to. I even went so far as to cut a hole into one of them, and removed 2 plastic grocery bags full, of feathers and sewed it shut and it was still unnecessarily way too much stuffing. THIS IS NOT even close to what people expect when they want or purchase a feather pillow, i could have bought a cider block and had the same experience. This would be a great product if not for how obnoxiously full this is. And i do mean obnoxious. By the way when i cut it open to pull out feathers, there was a lot of unrecognizable white pieces of something, and the feathers themselves were mostly quill. Idk if this contributes to the rigidness of the pillow or what. For comparison, if you have had feather pillows in the past, this is equal to shoving 3-4 normal feather pillows into one pillow case. If all of this actually sounds appealing to you then definitely buy them, they are great quality as far as their make and fabric, but they really need to include a zipper so you can dump out half of the feathers. If i hadn't already sewed it up i would have taken out another 2 grocery bags worth of feathers and hoped for the best but I just got different pillows elsewhere. Too much hassle. Read more
