I was skeptical at first reading all the mixed reviews. I didn’t want to alter my filter housing which so many aftermarket filters require you to do with an included tool. To my surprise, the water filter and air filter fit perfectly in my LG ThinQ model LRMVS3006D (water filter located on door). No modification to the water filter housing was needed, with the included tool. At first I thought the new filter was not seated properly because I didn’t feel as much of a “click” when twisting it in, as I felt when I removed the old filter, but it felt secure. So proceeded to test it and ran a few gallons of water through the new filter. I re-checked the filter and didn’t see any leaks or pooling of water. Water with the new filter actually tastes better than with the old original LG brand filter. Water flow is just as good with this replacement filter. Air filter was simple to replace.
