First - I would buy this jacket again in a heartbeat. For me, my issues aren't dealbreakers: an open seam in the bottom of the right pocket, less than an inch long (just right to stick a finger in and rip the entire seam) and an odd attachment for the hood (five thin thread loops on the hood that go around corresponding buttons inside the collar). Second - For several weeks I have been looking for a light/medium jacket with fabric shell (not waterproof and not fleece). This sturdy cotton shell is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Third - I was looking for a jacket with a warm (not heavy winter) breathable liner, either removable or sewn-in). This sturdy cotton liner is EXACTLY what I was looking for. So - my first thought was to send it back for a replacement, but knowing my luck my size/color would be sold out forever. I can sew the hole in the pocket. I can live with the odd hood attachment, especially since the hood itself is very soft fleecy material and should be warm and comfortable. The jacket seems to be very well made, other than the pocket hole. The zipper feels sturdy. I purchased a 3XL, which is what the listing recommended for me; it fits perfectly. It should be warm enough for those spring and fall days when a full-blown winter parka is too much. The jacket was priced a bit higher than I wanted to spend, but was actually in the lower price range of comparable jackets.
