If you have wide calves, these will not work for you. I’m borderline in wide calf territory with a calf circumference of about 15in and these barely zipped. The material is soft and pliable but does not stretch. These boots do not have the little stretchy insert that some other boots do have to accommodate a variety of calf sizes. As for sizing, I feel that they run a bit small/ tight. I ordered my regular size and it fit but very snug. I added socks that weren’t very thin and it was a tight fit. Additionally, it only took about 10mins of walking around in these for them to become rather uncomfortable. They have virtually no padding inside so they can be hard on your feet even though the heel is not that high. I also found them to be a little narrow. I did not find the material to be breathable at all because after I removed the boots from those 10mins of wear, my legs felt sweaty and sticky. Lastly, I ended up not being a big fan of the semi pointed toe on these- it made my feet look unusually long and weird. Read more

Knee high zip up black boots, semi matte. Some shine, but not an overly cheap gloss. Feels comfortable like a could wear them for hours. Zipper is smooth. Calf room is good. I normally wear a size 9, but I ordered these in size 10 & they fit? I had expected them to feel big but they do not. Which means if I would have ordered my correct size they might have been too small or atleast tight. So there's a good possibility that they run small, but since I havent tried on my true size I cant say for sure. Im not a huge fan of the square toe.
