This is a very large set of puzzle tiles. It was shipped in a gigantic box that felt so light we thought it was empty. The tiles came wrapped in celophane, and put together in large squares comprised of 4 smaller tiles. There are also borders around all of these which means that when you put these together they are more stable and have a more finished, squared off look. The size of this set and all the pieces make this very versatile in terms of how it can be configured and it covers a large surface area. The blocks fit together securely with no gaps or sliding and are fairly soft and thick. One of the advantages of this set, besides its size and versatility is that it is a very nice neutral beige color. So many of these play mats come in really vivid colors which are fine for a child's room but tend to detract from other spaces. These light colored tiles are light and bright and fit seamlessly into any decor, so they can be left in place without detracting from the look of your room. The media could not be loaded. Life hack alert! I didn’t use these for a play area — I made myself a cozy little walkway through the bathroom! No more cold floors on my toes, and no slipping when I hop out of the shower in a hurry. The tiles fit together perfectly. Obviously, the functionality is endless, lol . Used these to cut and place word buttons for my puppy. That way they stay in place and I cut out a hole for his water bowl with the water button in the same tile. I did the same for the food bowl. He quickly learned those and we soon moved on to more words. Read more
