Despite’s some reviews that were negative I bought this radio to fend off cougars from entering our goat pens in a very rural forested area. We set the radio to face the sun and positioned the solar panel and found that we could pick up both AM and FM stations, The radio played for 3-5 hours for five days before the battery was depleted as the solar panel was shaded part of each day. I placed it in the sun and within 15 minutes it was back on the job. It has been dropped from four feet to the ground with no apparent damage. The volume and station controls are easy to use and the emergency light is bright. The sound quality is quite good for such small speakers. Longevity is still to be tested. One drawback is the instruction sheet which requires a magnifying lens to read the tiny type. It’s a compact AM/FM radio with additional useful features. I am very pleased with my purchase. Read more
Best Damm blue tooth radio of my worthless life. The solar panel on this Thang plays no games, charges this bad hog right up ! I have never plugged this in to charge it as the solar panel cranks hard ! I love this thing ! Read more
