I'm a fairly taller and bigger person. Not large in any capacity terms, but just due to height and build. However, my head is like... not the right size. You can scan up my dumb body and see all these things in proportion, then you get to these wide as getout shoulders and it slinks up this strangely skinny neck to my nubbin of a noggin. I tell you this not to arouse your curiosity and to encourage strange requests for... pics... oh no... I say this because this hat does not fit me. I do not have a large head for my body, and it fits my wife basically perfectly, with no extra room. So, know this will be small. But hey, she looks really adorable so that's fine. Read more

This hat looks really good and has a water resistant construction. It works well to keep the sun away and to stay dry(er) in a rain shower. It is a bit on the small side though. I wear a 7 3/8" fitted cap and this is a pretty tight fit on my head. It does have a bungee strap for adjusting to a smaller head size, but no chin strap for wind resistance. There are two small loops under the brim where you could attach a strap of your own. I like that the brim is not super floppy like standard bucket hats. It is also nit quite as wide as astandard bucket hat brim. I like the style and the function, just be aware that it is onthe smaller side. Read more

I have spent so long looking for THIS hat. Along the way, I collected loads of other similar hats but this one will replace them all. It's lightweight and foldable/smooshable for packing or even stuffing in your pocket, but still keeps its shape when you need to bust it out. It's waterproof — not just water "resistant." It has an elastic cord that you can adjust to make it snug to your head so it doesn't blow away. It has a few small reflective details for being out in low-light. The stitching is nice. It's well made. AND, the colors are stylish (in my opinion) and neutral. The only issue that doesn't worry me but may be an issue for others is that the hat runs small.
