This is the very first dress I made by myself and I used this corset kit as a total novice for a pinup competition last year. It gave me the snatched look I wanted for this dress without the squeeze of a zipper. It was very easy to sew onto my bodice and skirt and worked perfectly to give me the shape I wanted. This corset back extender is good quality and lined with plastic boning which is nice and gives it more rigidity. It was easy to sew into the wedding dress I’m working on, and looks really good. The only thing I don’t like is the quality of the ribbon, they did not do a great job sewing it - the seam is very sloppy and sewn crooked so there isn’t a nice smooth side of the ribbon. I purchased this item to adjust the fit of a vintage wedding dress I had planned to wear in a play. The original dress zipped up, with a bow attached by a snap at the bottom of the zipper. I was able to zip it, but I could tell it was going to be too tight for singing and moving onstage. I just needed an inch or so more and it would be perfect. I honestly couldn’t believe how well this product solved the problem. It honestly looks better now than it did with the zipper. As others have commented, the champagne color was more yellow than they were expecting.
