So far these lights appear to be working as expected. They are relatively bright, although I don't think the output is close to the claimed output but that's the expectation. Color is soft white, no noticeable amount of warmth, which I do like in shop lights. There are certain aspects that I do not like about these lights which, again as expected, are a reflection of the cheap price. The pull chain is very short, about a foot long. I have another light like this and the cord is like 4ft. I had to fabricate a longer cord from the unused portion of the included hanging chains. These are meant to be installed in a shop, where the ceiling is high, so why such short cord? Obviously for cost-cutting. The reflector/back is all plastic and very flimsy. Better (and pricier) lights would have been all aluminum. One spot is warm to the touch, that's probably where the LED driver is located. Heat dissipation might be an issue, that's why I chose not to mount this flush with the ceiling and hang it a few inches from the ceiling instead for some air flow. Compared to my other aluminum lights with long pull cords, these are of much lower quality. But they make up for it by having brighter lights about the same price. The question is will these last. Overall if you just want pure brightness, these will do the job just fine. Read more
