I use traditional deodorant bar soap for bathing as well as a beauty bar for my face. This soap dish is a MUST for traveling. It has a hinged top that snaps closed, and it also has a removable slotted plastic insert that your soap bar sits on, so if you're handing the bar by a sink or in the shower and it's wet and you sit it down into the holder, any droplets of water drip thru the slotted piece into the bottom of the holder which prevents soap scum from developing on the bar itself. Nice touch. I bought the blue one for my body bar and the pink one for my facial bar. They're a nice sturdy plastic and they're tall enough that any traditional sized body or facial bar will fit into it and close securely without the lid popping open. I absolutely love these. I found myself searching for a holder that wouldn’t dry my soap nor leave puddles of water after sticking my soap in it. And whoop whoop, this is it! Literally I can lay it in there on the drainer rack inside and let it dry without drying out or getting stuck to the bottom. It’s easy to pop open and spot clean as well. The durability is great because the case is hard and can withstand a drop if it ever hits the ground. It looks so simple yet cute which I love things they are pleasing to the eyes.
