I pay close attention to what is written in Amazon listings about products ... and this listing prompted me to order these 1000 thread count, Hotel Grade, Egyptian Cotton sheets. These sheets are exactly as described in this listing and are brilliant white in color. I have used Egyptian Cotton sheets in the past and they wear like iron. The high thread count of these sheets makes them very soft to the touch. I was also especially interested in these particular sheets because this King set has extremely deep pockets, which fits my thick mattress properly. The stitching on these sheets is superb. They are comfortable, and the cotton stays cool, which makes for a good sleep. I have already washed and dried these sheets several times and they do come out of the dryer wrinkle free. Wash them in warm water and dry them on the Perma-Press setting for wrinkle-free results. Egyptian Cotton is a very sturdy and durable material that you can expect to last for years to come. Favorite sheets by far!! So soft and silky for cotton. They stay fresh for a long time. They wash great and so far no pilling. The stitching is high quality and you can tell it is a very high thread count, they just feel GOOD. Now I’m spoiled and only want these sheets on my bed. They are cool but not cold in the winter like satin and they are not slippery like satin. Unfortunately the photographs that I can take absolutely wash out the color. My photos make these sheets look grey. The color is not shown acutely in any of the pictures, those from Amazon and the photos I took. The color is a muted, but still rich, greenish teal? with a lot of grey in it. When trying to describe the hue with only one word it would be green. I loved the feel and drape of these sheets so much that I went ahead and ordered this color set, all the while wondering what other colors (in my linen closet) I could use to make up my bed, and make every thing as beautiful as it could be. The other qualities of this set of sheets that make it one of my favorites is the 1000 thread count, and the weave of the fabric. These sheets are soft and wonderful to sleep on. 100% cotton, breathes and keeps us comfortable. Every time these sheets are laundered they will become softer. These sheets fit my bed size as suggested and are a good fit. They are soft and vibrant in color. Although they smelled a little weird when I first open the package, after a good washing, they were fine. They have stood up to repeated wear and washer use so far without too much wear and tear. They only come with 2 pillows, but the color is millennial grey, so you should be able to find more to match. I haven't felt any noticeable cooling effect from the sheets, but I have been using them in winter so we will see how they hold up in summer. Read more

These sheets are so well made, if taken care of they will last for years. The fitted sheet has elastic all around the edges. The elastic is covered with a nice hem. Because I have sensitive skin and allergies, I washed them before putting them on the bed. This is the process in which you can choose soft or crispy. Out of the package they were soft. Add fabric softener to your laundry if you prefer to keep the sheets soft. If you prefer slightly crispy sheets, omit the fabric softener. I omitted it and they came out of the dryer with the perfect texture for me. They are crispy yet soft enough not to feel scratchy. Our adjustable mattress requires some give in the sheets and these sheets fit the bill. The fitted sheet does have some extra room, but by using my elastic bed straps I can make them fit perfectly snug. I had a restful night of sleep. Our pups also gave the seal of approval. A small edge of the pillow cover on the larger pillow isn’t covered by the case. I am not going to deduct stars, because pillow sizes probably vary by brand. Read more
