Last month (July 2024) was the 3rd time I bought one of these shower shelves. I personally installed the 1st and 2nd ones in our ceramic-tiled master bedroom shower earlier this year. Both of them are holding up perfectly. I installed the 3rd one in our main bathroom tile shower last week. I used the shelf manufacturer's first recommended adhesive (Loctite PL Premium Polyurethane) and the shelf is firmly attached. I followed the shelf manufacturer's included instructions carefully because I'm a perfectionist and want those three shelves to hold up for the life of the shower and for it to look perfect. Very satisfied with these high-quality shelves. Read more

When this arrived I was immediately worried.... the material is just about as heavy as tile! However, after following the instructions and finishing everything up, I'm very satisfied with the purchase so far. I used Loctite Power Grab Ultimate for the "glue" and the shelf appears to be very sturdy! Of course, I'm not going to put all my pressure on the shelf when I go to clean it eventually, but it is gripping stronger than I expected it to, given it's weight. I'm glad I chose this product over the wire-type holders in which everyone seemed to be complaining about rusting, even though those vendors claimed their baskets wouldn't rust! This blends in much nicer. I would recommend it. Read more

Bought two of them to use in my master bathroom. Followed all the instructions to the letter and neither shelf would stay in place. I used the 5 minute epoxy pictured in the listing and it slipped right off the tile. I even waited 6 days to put any weight on the shelves since I was out of town, but after the first night they had slid down the wall on one side by 2 inches rending it useless. Dislike because the double sided tape was not strong. Put my foot on it and fell and chipped. Read more

Needs a wider, flaired style base for a more secure attachment. Use ONLY the strongest glue. Read more

I ordered and installed both the soap dish and footrest. They're basically tinted, beautified cast blocks of resin and they seem to be plumb and level. The finish on top has a satin-like sheen and the bottom is a gloss black. The two back sides of the shelf have a slight texture casted into them to help with adhesion and also include spaces for the included double-stick tape placement. When installing the shelf, be sure to either use a very viscous epoxy or a good barrier tape between the wall and the bottom of the shelf. The included double-stick tape leaves a gap of about a sixteenth of an inch (or more if your wall isn't a true 90°) of which I'm assuming is intended to leave space for the epoxy to properly bond and will allow a thinner epoxy to easily drip through. Also be very sure to mask off the area around the shelf, right up to the edges of the shelf. As long as you properly clean and prep the area, I wouldn't have any worry about adhesion and sturdiness. Most epoxies of which one would choose to use have a considerable high cleavage and shear strength. I can't speak for the flexural strength of the shelf itself, but it is a solid brick of resin of about ⅝"-¾" . So unless you're planning on using these shelves to build a rock climbing wall, all will be well. All that said, I think it can handle a bar or two of soap or even the biggest, meanest, powerlifting mancalf you can throw at it. Only complain I have at this point is that the two shelves don't match quite as well as I would have hoped. The soap dish has more of a copper tine behind the "oil" and the footrest has more of a bronze tint. They're close enough that they aren't completely out of place, but that might become more apparent if they were to have been placed closer together. While installing the tile, I hadn't considered adding shelves. Given the choice, I would have preferred to install these shelves into mortar along with the tile, but it is definitely nice to be able to install these shelves as an afterthought, and not having to tear into the tile. Ultimately, given the necessity, I would use these again. Read more

Very solid and just what I was looking for to put my foot up when shaving. It is still new so still hasn't got a lot of use but like I can place it where it is most convenient and comfortable. Read more

I bought this so I could try the installation before I tried others. Worked out great. Read more
