Very nice pants. Soft, stretchy waist band and extra wide - fits good. Material is not too thick, but still enough to keep you warm on a fall morning. Love the pockets, enough to hold the essentials. Including phone. I'm on the shorter side, 5'4" - pants are just a tad long, but can use the cinch cord to make shorter. Legs are not fitted, so loose fitting. Could have gotten away with a large size, but ordered an XL after seeing reviews and checking the size chart. I like pants to be loose fitting, but wish I'd ordered a L. Well made, comfortable and true to size. The waistband is thick elastic which I like as it ensures the pants stay in place when I’m gardening. I also like the elastic adjustable bit at the hem as I can fit this over my hiking boots securely. All the pockets are deep and I can fit my phone into the Velcro leg pocket easily. I’m 5ft 1 and these fit with a few inches to spare in length which I can cope with because of the elastic hem. If you are taller than average height I’m not sure they would be long enough.
