Great desk coverage with the multiple lights and flexibility throughout the design. Works well for different lighting situations, day or night. The media could not be loaded. This lamp is bigger than I expected in a good way – it lights up my whole desk. Super easy to put together, and I love how adjustable it is. The brightness settings are perfect for switching between reading, working, or just relaxing. Quality feels solid and it really fits well with my setup. The remote and timer are a nice bonus. This lamp has nice lighting options — extendable light bar, some color temperature control, and a rear “ambient” light — but all that flexibility makes simple use annoying. It doesn’t remember your settings, so every time I turn it on I have to turn off the back light and readjust brightness and color. Build quality feels a bit flimsy (my vertical post isn’t perfectly straight, and the light bar sags off horizontal slightly), and the touch controls are on that wobbly bar. The included wireless puck remote is handy, but it’s also one more thing to keep track of and power with batteries. Also note: it only mounts with a desk clamp, so it won’t work well if your desk doesn’t have a suitable rear or side edge. Read more

Overall, I quite like it. I use this to light my project table (4' x 18" or so). It's nearly perfect for that. To be honest I don't know why you'd want something like this at a computer desk, where it would just be a lot of pointless glare, but teach their own. I really like being able to adjust the color temperature. It would be neat if it went into "warmer" (redder) temps but it's a useful range as-is. I haven't found a use-case for folding the side 'ears' in. I just leave them extended. I think it would be even better if there were one more articulation point, right at the base. Even a chintzy one that I have to manually tension, would be totally fine at this price point. It would be handy for certain tasks. Read more

Got this for my office because there is no lighting around my desk and I have two big screens I need to look at constantly and this was a game changer. I love how much brighter the screens are and I can see. I also love how it comes with a wireless remote that you can put right beside the keyboard and tap when you need light you do not need to look for the button on the light.
