We received this a while ago as a gift, and it quickly became one of my dog's favorite toys. It is not made for chewing and a dog that is intent on destroying toys will make quick work of this one. When we first started using it we closely supervised our dog and corrected him whenever he tried to chew or rip. Once he understood the correct way to play with it, we haven't had any issues. My dog absolutely loves his "treat noodle" and it is one of his favorite toys (he has many to pick from)! He knows it by name and he regularly brings it to us and asks us to put treats in it. It has gotten some wear and tear over time, but we use it almost every other day and it's lasted over 9 months, so this is a big win for us! Read more

This is a great idea in theory, the treat pouch is not very deep so essentially it's just a big knot where the treats fall out. No cognitive stimulation here. Read more

great toy but my bulldog tore it pretty quick, i wouldn’t recommend for anyone with heavy chewing doggies or ones that like to destroy, maybe stick with something a little tougher 1y6mo english bulldog 43lbs Read more

my terrier loves it, my maltese so so. it acts like a slow feeder, and dogs love to “hunt” for their food. but it makes a mess when pieces drop out onto the floor. i only use it in my indoor enclosed kennel with a washable rubber lined matt. then i occasionally take the matt outside and shake it. it works best if you only have one dog getting it at a time. even with two, they may fuss over who gets which one. or switch after each decides the other’s must be better. Big dog’s massive teeth would destroy the little feeder. i use it when i’m going to be away for a while or don’t have time to keep track of them, because o can’t leave my terrier free to room the house since he likes to mark. it’s easy to clean in your kitchen sink, i’d not put it in washer, but you could, I just don’t want pieces of dog food in my laundry. it’s a tough nylon and will last a long time, so well worth the money. i don’t use it every day, it’s a treat, just like the snuffle feeders i use. We just got this KNOTTYBALL. Steve (The Red Heeler, 7mos) has had it for 30 minutes. As you can see…he has enjoyed it (no treats in it yet). As I write this more destruction has transpired! 3stars …he loves it, just not super duper “tuff”! Read more

I have a very smart dog who thrives when left puzzles to solve whenever he has to be left alone. I am pretty sure he owns every canine puzzle ever made, as well as at leat 75% of the dog toys currently on the market, and he seems to find most puzzles and toys boring, for he solves them VERY quickly. This toy, however, keeps him interested and busy for at least 20-30 minutes because it has hundreds of places to hide a training treat, mini-biscuit, piece of kibble, or other small food item. My boy has to snuffle and find the treats/kibble, all while trying to untie the knot. He seems to love it! The toy is made of tough nylon webbing, so it easily stands up to my dog's tough chewing. Even after hundreds of times my dog has chewed on this toy, it still looks brand new. I also love that this toy has no squeakers or stuffing. It's quiet! Read more

It took my puppy only a minute to shake all the treats out. Initially, she tried chewing it, but I stopped her. I noticed that she managed to chew through one strap in seconds. She didn't attempt to untie it until shaking it stopped producing treats. Then, she seemed to be trying to untie it, but instead, she chewed through it just as quickly as she had shaken out all the treats. It took my puppy only a minute to shake all the treats out. Making the material thicker might make it last longer than a few minutes. I would not order this again. Read more

As a treat delivery system, this didn't work very well. Even setting it up, the little pockets were so loose they didn't really hold in a treat. If the treat was big enough for the flaps to hold onto, the treat would be too heavy for the flaps to hold. The only time we were able to use it for treats, most of the flaps got ripped off. I wasn't surprised. Additionally, if it were a few inches longer, the knot would be easier to tie and it would be harder for the dog to get it undone. As it is, it almost slides loose itself. I gave it two stars because my girl loves to run around with it and use it as a tug toy and it's held up to that. Read more
