A must-see movie
Cuba Gooding and Ed Harris, two of my fav actors, shine in this movie about the underdog. Radio is a mentally challenged boy that Coach Jones (Harris) takes under his wing--much to the consternation of his team, the school, and community at large. In an era where racial equality was a concept more than a practice, Harris fights discrimination on multiple fronts. It comes at a cost to his family, which ultimately forces him into some difficult decisions. Told with warmth and heart, this movie is a must-see. Read more
