This was the easiest transition from a regular toilet seat to one that is sturdy and about 3 inches higher. My petite elderly mother lives with us and has bad knees. This elongated toilet seat not only fit perfectly, it was sturdy and very smooth and the lid portion is very lightweight! Our old one was heavy and if she bumped it the lid would slam down noisely where this one is lightweight and has the soft close mechanism so it's very quiet. The other thing benefit is that she is about 4 foot 9 inches tall, so many raised seats are too high for her to use. I got two of these. They come with clear installation instructions, I installed them myself with no issues. The quality of these are absolutely amazing. These have held up for months still as sturdy as day 1. Easy to clean and with soft close there’s no banging against the toilet. These have functioned perfectly. I was in the process of buying a new toilet when Iran across this raised seat. I was skeptical at first and decided to try it. Needless to say I returned the toilet and kept the seat. have had this for about 5 weeks and so far no issues. It fits my toilet perfectly. It raises my toilet to 21 inches which I needed for my horrible knees. I would definitely recommend at this point but will see how it holds up after a few months. For now it’s a go!! Read more
