I purchased this set of clubs for my 11-year-old son who is trying out gold for the first time. Since I didn't know how he was going to take to the sport I did not want to invest top dollar but wanted a durable and PGAJr-worthy set, I chose this set. My son has been thrilled with it--and with the game. Since I am on the short side, I think I can even use these clubs if I decide to take up the sport myself! We are all very pleased with the product, the way it was packaged, the speed with which it arrived (a day earlier than predicted), the quality of the construction, the appearance, the bag construction, and the colors. The only thing we would chage about it is that the straps do not adjust quite at much as we would like. The bag falls too far down his back for comfort, but this is a minor inconvenience. My 5 year old son has been using these to kill time at the range while me and my wife practice. Not too heavy for him, but I think he has a little room to grow before he can swing it all the way. I think the club heads weight more then what the bag can handle, and the bag starts to dip down while being carried either on the back or by hand. Read more

Our10 yr old grandson has been playing in golf outings with us for a couple years now. He had a very basic beginner set of clubs which were ok for the first outings as an 8 yr old but since he's gotten taller and stronger he needed to upgrade. This set of clubs and bag are just like dad's but short enough for him. All the clubs are sturdy and the driver has a nice ping. I got this for my 6yr old son. It looks great, and plays great. I didn’t want to spend too much since he might lose interest, it’s only a matter of time before he would need bigger clubs, and well he’s just a beginner so better clubs wouldn’t really be of benefit anyway.
