Exceeded expectations on quality, though missing a rain cover
This is a high quality Randseru, the color is vibrant and the construction is solid. It is not a real leather (those cost over $500 in Amazon Japan) but quality vegan leather. It's a little heavier than typical backpack, but a perfect size for my first grader in terms of capasity (a water bottle, snacks, a rolled up jacket etc.). Older students would have to carry three hole binders in a separate bag. I was worried about ordering this item after the tariffs on small items went in, but it was shipped with a Chinese carrier with tracking and text notification, and it arrived quickly before the expected time period. It also comes with a 6 year warranty self filled paperwork (in Japanese) but not sure if that's actually a thing or not. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality and glad I made the purchase. I would recommend even though it was missing a rain cover, especially for this unique color. Read more
