Ranger X - Sega Genesis

Who would have known that the greatest game with a transforming robot wasn’t even related to Transformers? You’d think with a liscense like that they’d make an actually good game out of it but nope, to this day no Transformers game has EVER been as good as Ranger X. Why is this game so good? Oh sorry where do I even start? First of all this game plays like a DREAM. It is absolutely amazing controlling not only your main robot character but also his flying skateboard robot thing. Essentially this skateboard robot is automatically controlled by the game, but if you want you can ride on top of it, or crouch down into the drivers seat and drive it like this is Blaster Master, reaching incredible acceleration. So yeah, this is a game where you play as a giant transforming robot that can ride a flying skateboard. Is there really anything else that needs to be said? Read more

This game is simply amazing, doing both amazing visuals for the genesis and great gameplay. I know almost no one who knows about this game, but it's truly a gem, a great game that's both challenging and fun, if you like good classics and are a fan of megaman and such, this game is a must have.
