These are solid readers; they are sold for men but my husband and I both use them so in our household they are a unisex item. They may not be the pinnacle of style but I like the basic look of them and I think they look pretty decent on both of us. They're quite lightweight, overall not quite the quality in terms of sturdiness or build as some similar I've had but still feel durable and fit comfortably. I actually prefer a lighter and less substantial frame sometimes since I'm not too worried about how glasses I'm just wearing around the house look on me and I don't need a bulky designer frame. These have spring hinges which I appreciate, as I find reading glasses without them tend to get broken quickly in my household. I didn't really need the cases, but they are solid and nice looking so that may be an attractive feature to many with this set. I honestly don't really notice the difference of whether or not I'm wearing blue light blocking glasses, but I do spend a lot of my day at the computer so it's a nice feature to have as it's likely helping me avoid visual fatigue without me even realizing it. In terms of the magnification, I ordered 3.5x which I think is the highest readers come in, and these work as expected in helping me see well enough to read my computer and phone screens easily. They are extremely lightweight ant the flexible hinges ensure a prefect fit and the flexibility is especially appreciated because I frequently get headaches that turn into migraines and the last thing I want is the pressure of tight fitting glasses. The style is modern and would look great on either a man or woman. The lenses provide accurate and clear magnification to save the eyeballs from fatigue. I really like that the frames are compact and come with a hardcase storage container that easily fits in a purse, utility bag or a decent sized pocket. Another plus is the cleaning cloth, however it only comes with one cloth to share between the pair of frames. Boy, I can't seem to have enough Reading glasses and the new ones with the spring hinges are fantastic. That these are blue light readers is an additional plus. I like the size of these a lot, because I got comfortable with the bigger full size lenses and found out I was wearing them ALL THE TIME which you don't want to do as glasses do weaken your natural eyesight as I have researched and these lenses are full enough to give great sight coverage but narrow/small enough to perch on the nose and look over when not needed a BIG plus for me because I need them all the time for up close work but then when moving about onto another chore I want my eyes to do the work WITHOUT glasses so they stay strong from routine natural use. There is a lot of research about how the eye is weakened by glasses and improvement can be made by requiring the eyes to do their job naturally so these smaller glasses work perfectly for me in my quest to not overwear corrective lenses. And with the two colors provided, blue and pinkish you get to choose what fits your mood. At $18.00 think a very reasonable price for magnification and blue light. Happy I got them. Read more
