Goodbye to my trusty red Rooster Tail with a silver spinner. Today I hit the stream around 3pm and I threw my Rooster Tail a few times and I didn’t get a single bite, so I took it off and stuck on this pricey lure. At first cast- as soon as this lure hit the water- a very feisty trout immediately hit and I pulled him in. I caught a total of 6 using only this one lure in about an hour. The other thing I noticed about this lure is that it never got hung on any rocks or grass, I never once had to wade out and retrieve the lure- not once! Tie this on and you WILL catch Bass , Perch , Crappie, Rockies . I like the blue body with silver blade in clear water ...and all gold in muddy rivers. I bought the #2 here , it works well but I kind of like the #3 better for longer casting. The larger #3 doesn't seem to deter smaller fish like rock bass and crappie. Read more
