I wasn't impressed with this top, it was not the quality I expected at that price and it was way too small. I usually have tops being too big but this was too tight and I didn't feel it was really worth getting the bigger size. It was somewhat soft knit, polyester, but not super soft and you would definitely need to gentle wash in a garment bag. There was fabric string hanging off mine.
