Bought this for my son’s first year of coach-pitch baseball, and it’s been awesome. The design is sharp (we went with the red/white/blue), and it fits all his gear without being oversized or too bulky for him to carry on his own. There’s space for two bats on the sides, plus room for his helmet, glove, and cleats inside. I really like the built-in hooks so he can hang it on the fence during game-keeps everything off the ground and easy to reach. The material seems tough and wipes clean after muddy days, which is a big plus. It’s well-padded, so he has no trouble carrying it even when it’s full. Only thing missing is a water bottle holder on the outside, but that’s a small trade-off for everything else this bag gets right. So far, we love these bags! We needed something for multiple sports for our 6 year olds. These bags are perfect. We bought each kid one. One is being used for the different seasons of soccer, wrestling, basketball, and baseball. A soccer ball fits inside both top and bottom compartments along with his cleats. The bag is great for wrestling and basketball season as it holds all his gear along with both sport shoes. It also will be great for baseball since there are 2 bat sleeves. The other one is using it for soccer, lacrosse, and eventually softball. I was worried a lacrosse stick would be more floppy in the bat sleeve, but it works great for a youth stick. I’m assuming it will fit a softball bat. The bags are well built and the zippers were better than expected. There is not a water bottle holder, but not a big deal for us since they have leak proof water bottles. We just put their water bottles inside with the rest of their gear. The bag colors are great and what was pictured. Both kids can carry the bags no problem and they don’t look overly huge. The straps adjust well. I expect these bags to be used for many years. We picked up this backpack because it is inexpensive and perfect for a kid who is going to outgrow their gear pretty quickly. It does not have many pockets, but it holds a helmet, glove, a bat, and the basics without any issue. For a first season of tee ball or coach pitch it is more than enough. The material feels light but reasonably sturdy, and it is easy for a young player to carry on their own. Nothing fancy here, just a straightforward bag that works for the early years when you do not need a lot of storage. My son is baseball player, and has been enjoying this backpack very much. All his equipment fit, and it's been durable so far. One downside is that there is not a designated compartment for the shows, so he sometimes hangs them on the side, but other times he just needs to carry them separetly or try to fit them with the helmet. It is vere comfortable to carry around and to hang on the fence during practice and games. It is not heavy, so even though it is packed with all his gear, he can carry it around (no problem). Looks nice but the bat sleeve is pretty tight and barely fit the barrel of my 7 yr old’s 27” bat, it doesn’t just sleep in easily at all. The top compartment has a removable flap that comes undone easily, which means you have to line up the zipper over and over to close it. I am not sure how long the zipper would last bc of this. I also wish there was a water bottle holder or at least an easier way to use the other bat sleeve as a bottle holder, but it is too narrow for most bottles. Read more
