The quality of this keyboard is very high. It's heavy and very solid. The glow of the backlighting through the key caps is very nice and consistent. Mine had yellow switches and they felt very good. I recommend this keyboard if you run MS Windows or are a gamer. Read about the features and software requirements to see if they meet your own needs. I returned the keyboard because I run Ubuntu 22.04. The keyboard worked out of the box, but the synapse configuration software is for MS Windows, so I could not change the backlighting from the factory setting. You can change the brightness, but you cannot change the colors or lighting pattern, which is constantly changing rainbow of colors. I would buy another Razer keyboard if the RGB lighting could be configured right from the keyboard. Read more

This is an amazing keyboard, I love razer green switches but they are so LOUD! Wife complained so I returned the V2 blackwidow green switches for the V3 yellows. Feels great but no tactile feedback. Gaming is better but typing you have to get used to. Still highly recommend and great Razer quality! Don't forget to get a deathadder mouse, best mouse IMHO! Read more

I'm using this keyboard to type this review. I've exchanged my purchased item twice because of terrible double entry - I know mecha keyboards are structurally prone to double entry caused by dusts and maybe that's why Razer has developed their own optical key switches that are mostly free of the same issue, and I was about to return this until I received an firmware update notice from Razer. The double entry issue is almost gone with firmware updated to v1.02. There are still cons such as the poorly controlled qualities of key caps and LEDs that users would notice especially when he or she sets the lighting to static white color (some keys would light in pink due to black paint stains partially remaining on letters or LED control malfunction), but having said that, I love this keyboard for great touch feelings of Razer green switches (you know it if you have ever had it) and minimal design that perfectly matches to both needs in gaming and daily uses. I'm happy with it now and strongly recommend users that are in despair of double entry to try firmware update before returning it. Read more

I just wanted to post this here to try and help others who are having an issue with some of the keys double-registering. Yes, it's true, we shouldn't have this issue on a brand new keyboard, and why it was released like this, is beyond me. However, not everyone has this issue, but a lot do, and I'd like to help you fix it. And thankfully, it's really an easy fix. Go to Razer's website, click support, then keyboards. Next, click on Razer BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless. This will bring up the support page for this particular keyboard. Next, click on the green text at top where it says "View software, drivers and updates for download >". After clicking that, you will see the Razer BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless Firmware Updater Guide page. Clicking on download will open up the PDF firmware updating instructions. Inside of this PDF, there is the actual link to download the firmware, which, as of this posting, shows a Release Date: 17 Sep 2020. This could change at any time, should a newer update become available. Updating the firmware doesn't take long at all. And yes, it does fix the double-registering issue. I had the same issue with mine, after updating the firmware, everything has been working perfectly! As for the keyboard itself, I really like it. It's nice and compact. Looks and feels great to type on. Gaming with it has been great, too. More room for my mouse to fly around (when playing FPS games) with this smaller keyboard. RGB lighting looks very nice. Keyboard feels well made and sturdy. And it does have a metal top. It's exactly what I was looking for. I was planning on buying a set of Doubleshot PBT Keycaps, but honestly, I find the stock keycaps to be just fine. The lighting shines through the stock keycaps nice and bright, and I appreciate that. Possible cons for some. The Razer Green switches are pretty loud when bottoming out. The top plate of this keyboard is metal, which adds to the noise. So, if you type like a woodpecker pecking on a tree, you're going to be making a lot of noise! I wouldn't recommend using it in the library, or where others are trying to sleep, unless, of course, you want a shoe thrown upside your head! As far as I know, and I've looked everywhere, Razer is selling this particular keyboard only with Green switches, as of now. Maybe Razer will soon release one with the quieter Yellow switches, if you prefer those. Another possible con for some, there is no onboard memory. Profiles and customizations are created and saved using Razer's Synapse software. I hope this post was helpful to you. Enjoy your new keyboard! And to the Razer support team, y'all should be more active here on Amazon in helping your customers. Offering a solution to a problem publicly, would allow more people to see a possible solution to their problem(s). A look through these keyboard reviews, and the questions section, I don't see a single response from Razer. I mean no disrespect at all, but from what I can see here, Razer COULD do a better job interacting with it's customers. Read more

This keyboard offers top of the line preformance for a little amount of money compared to other keyboards. It has hot-swappable switches, and sounds great when typing and playing games. It has a sleek metal design, and the RGB is easy customizable through the Razer application that it comes with. Read more

Razer Blackwidow V3 keyboards are great. My son has two, one for college and one for home. Got the same for two of my grandkids. All use them daily for gaming, some for over a year, with no problems. Good quality with continued use. Read more
