New machine, new keyboard. Finally broken down and got an RGB keyboard, after demoing it at a few department stores I finally ordered one for myself. I gotta say, I'm liking it so far. Pros: - The "Mecha" Membrane feels strange at first but you quickly get used to it and then every keystroke feels natural. There's a very satisfying click every time you press one of the keys. - It's programmable and actually pretty easy to program following the instruction manual and using their downloadable software. - I also have a Razer mouse so I was able to link the RGB lighting to sync with each other...which is pretty cool in itself. - Some games have their own gaming profiles, I didn't know...but I was pleasantly surprised when I was playing Diablo 3 the other night and my preset lightning scheme changed to infernal red w/white lit keys where I normally press along with changing to other color profiles based on what skills I was using. Kudos on that. - It comes w/Razer stickers! Actually it also comes w/a sweet wrist rest that is magnetic so it easily attaches/detaches from your keyboard. - There's also clear plastic cover from the packaging that I still use as a dust cover w/only the 4 cursor buttons exposed. - More Pros? Yes...there's a slot to run the keyboard wire out of the top or the side. Ah the little things. - A decent array of lighting effects along with likely a bunch more linked to other games. Cons: (personal preference and opinion mainly) - Mecha Membrane may or may not be for you. It's definitely a different feel of resistance when you click the keys and it's not quiet. It has a sort of "clicka - clicka" sound. Kinda wish the clicking sound was a tad bit quieter. - 16.8 million customizable color options as a selling point...no one in this lifetime is going to cycle through all 16.8 million customizable color options. All in all a great gaming keyboard w/a few cool surprises (playing supported lightning profile games i.e. Diablo 3). If you have a few extra bucks, I'd recommend this keyboard to any avid gamer, enthusiast, or just someone who likes RGB LED lighting. Read more

I like this keyboard and use it on my gaming PC. The backlight colors are bright and easy to control with the Razer synapse app. They keys are nice and clicky but not overly loud and they have a good amount of resistance to each press to make them feel solid. The keyboard came with a wrist pad that is comfortable and soft to use with a good quality feeling to it. They wrist board attaches with magnets to the keyboard so its easy to remove if you don't want to use it. Ive had the keyboard for about a year now and have not had any problems with keys not responding or double clicking. I use this keyboard every day with moderate use. Light typing and the standard keys used while gaming. The thing I dont like about this keyboard is there is not way to adjust the preset colors or their effects from the keyboard. You have to use the Razer Synapse app to change them. You can adjust the brightness on the keyboard though. So if you dont want to install the Razer Synapse app on you PC you will have to live with the default setting of it color cycling or just turn the backlights off if you have well light room because a black keyboard is hard to see the keys on if there is not enough light. I’ve had this product for nearing 6 months now. It’s held up through siblings and others roughhousing. It’s had it’s fair bit of use in these 6 months, (atleast 5 hours a day). I’ve experienced an increase in performance once I switched from my old $15 off brand keyboard to this keyboard. It truly is an amazing keyboard for everything from writing 5 essays a day to playing competitive games for hours and hours on end. My hands never start to hurt, and I believe it’s because of this wrist rest. The wrist rest is a tad thin, and hard but it has the feel of a soft leather. It doesn’t negatively affect me in any aspect. The keyboard is easily cleaned, and is pretty much plug & play. I received mine and was very very satisfied. The tactile keys are clicky, yet soft. But not too soft. They feel amazing, unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. They sound like mechanical keys. The lighting under the keyboard is ambient with the opaque plastic above the LED’s. It makes it 10x better looking, and it helps with cleaning. The custom cable channel under the keyboard is very helpful for tabletop wire management. Having 3 channels for the keyboards wire. The wire feels strong and durable, after having it for 6 months and having it in each different channel, there are no signs of wear. It’s kept very nicely. The Razor lighting program is also very easy to navigate and use. Easily change between thousands of colors to match any setup. Thousands of different reactions are available to change as well. Everything is easily customizable. Overall this product is a definite item that I would recommend to anyone that is questioning purchasing this product. Read more
