These are a win! Thicker and sturdier than my cheaper readers and they fit me better, no falling off if I bend over. High quality, very clear optics that don’t make me dizzy. Plus I think they’re flattering! This is the tortoiseshell with green. Read more

Wearing Them To Write This Review! I have fallen in love with these glasses. They are my phone glasses and book reading glasses. I can wear them for long periods with still being a hearty frame. My nose doesn’t hurt after reading for hours on end! Read more

Incredible durability, esp with the spring hinges. These are the only well made readers I’ve found. I bought from Kaiser thinking they’d be better quality, but nay. These are worth it. Buying more. Read more

For full disclosure, I don't think I'm destined to use readers at all, because all of them require me to be too close to whatever I'm looking at to be comfortable (6 to 7 inches from my face). That goes for ALL magnifications, from smallest to largest, and for all the readers that I own. The lenses are as good as any that I have, but I have the same trouble with them all. The oddness of whatever I'm looking at makes my head hurt. This makes it difficult for me to rate the efficacy of lenses in readers. Since I can't speak to any superiority in terms of the lenses (though they are clear and blue-blocking seems to work well), I will give my thoughts on the glasses themselves, which are lovely and comfortable. The material is light, the finish glossy, and the frames quite comfortable on my face, while the colors are also subtle and lovely. I love the smooth nose guard portion. You never have to worry about the pad falling off and having the wire poke you on the bridge of your nose. The hinges on them are not flexible like the ones I have on other glasses, but they seem to be riveted sturdily into the frame. The dimensions are clearly listed in the product description, however, so as long as your face falls within those dimensions, it is unlikely that stationary hinges would pose a problem. The frames are fairly flexible, so I believe neither the glasses nor the hinges are likely to break, though I suspect they would break in two before a hinge would become loose or come apart. The open and close is a bit stiff, however, but that might loosen up over time. If your head is wider than the frames allow for, it might distort your vision a bit due to the fishbowl nature of the lenses. Unlike most of the readers I have purchased, these do not have the magnification information readily available on the inside of the arm. The product size and code are listed without the addition of the magnification strength. This is a silly thing to quibble over, but I have so many, I need that information readily at hand. The case is hardshell with velvet-type lining, so it protects them well in my purse without scratching or scuffing. The included microfiber cloth is a great quality addition and is the best cloth I own now. It fits neatly into the case with the glasses, which is handy because I seem to need it every time I take them out. The blue-light and UV blocking capability of these glasses, along with the addition of the hardshell case and microfiber cloth, make this a good value.. If you use your phone or tablet a lot (close to your face), these are a solid choice. I doubt you could sit close enough to a PC or laptop to make these the best option for that purpose, and for regular reading, a regular pair of readers might be a more economical choice. Read more
