Loving this TV so far. Great picture and sound. Easy set up. I use YouTube tv, no problem installing this and other Apps. The only drawback I have found is that it does not work with Alexa and you cannot install the Alexa app. The remote does not have a microphone, so Google Assistant is worthless also. Not a dealbreaker for me as you can do everything with the remote, but it would’ve been nice to have these features as advertised. There’s also no instructions as far as using the TV, installing apps, etc. I’m pretty tech savvy, but I imagine someone with less technical experience. may struggle with it initially. Update: this TV is really slow starting up. I purchased a Roku stick for $15, now it turns on immediately. I can use the Roku remote for everything and it works with Alexa. Very happy with it now. Came well packed easy to set up and even setting up a manual TV antenna for my elderly friend who cannot afford cable everything went smoothly and the TV has an amazing picture. So happy Read more
I’m about ready to return this tv. I haven’t even had it set up for a full 24 hours but it has been nothing but a headache. I bought this one because RCA has always been a reliable brand for electronics so I paid a little extra compared to the other weird named brands that I had never heard of. It takes forever to load the apps once you have them downloaded. It took me 3 hours to download the apps and get logged into my accounts on them on the tv. For some reason it never wanted to accept my passwords on the first or even the second try. Had to fight with pretty much every app to get logged into my accounts. Amazon prime and YouTube were pretty much the only ones that came loaded in the tv and were easy to get logged into. But my real complaint is that every time I turn the tv off, it loses the WiFi connection then can’t find the network again. I’m having to unplug the tv every time I try to turn it back on so that it will find the WiFi network. Might not be an issue if I was able to run an Ethernet cable to the tv but I’m not tech savvy enough to figure out how to do that in this old house that already has wires and cables running all over the place to get WiFi from one end of the house to the other. Also the WiFi router is 8” from the tv and all my other devices in that room have no problem finding the WiFi so I’m not sure why the tv can’t find it. This has been nothing but frustrating. Like it literally doesn’t even list any of the nearby WiFi signals in the list not even our network. Why make a WiFi compatible tv that can’t seem to find or hold onto the WiFi signal? Read more
Great value for the money. Our last TV was the same brand. The sound and picture quality is wonderful and it was super easy to connect to my Wifi. I am not tech savvy and I was able to set it up by myself. I don't even own a smart phone...straight talk and text, only. Overall good quality. Read more
Im 68yrs old. I live in the midwest and not very good with new technology. I need it simple and user-friendly. I love the size for my bedroom, and the picture is sharp with good color. I don't care for the sound and I have tried to adjust. I thought buying a RCA model would be easier for me. I wanted a tv that only used an antenna for viewing. My family room tv has all the apps, and hook up I need for a more robust viewing. When I go to bed I want it simple and boring. I live alone and use it to stop all strange sounds I hear at night. This tv is too smart for me. Wifi is simple to connect, it has all the apps you will ever need and the cost is worth it for someone other than me. Read more
#1: has excellent sound and picture #2: it is tv ears compatible BUT you can use the tv speaker OR the tv ears but not both together. #3: forget RCA support. The help link listed on Amazon is no longer valid AND the RCA site can't find this model number. Read more
