I have teeth spaced close together so the regular floss often breaks when I use it. Some of the cheaper brands will fray and leave small threads in my teeth, so flossing was such a difficult task. After trying the various regular waxed flosses and the flat ribbon type flosses, I found the ribbon type flosses slid in better, but did not do as good a job of dislodging tartar and plaque since they were more slippery. Also they tended to break much more easily. The regular floss performed better but was difficult to get into tight spaces. Then I found this floss, the Listerine Ultra Clean. Yes, it does cost a little more, but is well worth it since it has a slight bit of elasticity which prevents it from breaking as easily so I am actually not going through the supply as quickly as before. It is flat and ribbon-like, but has some texture that helps move plaque and tartar more effectively off the teeth. I searched everywhere, and the local store sells this at 2-3 times the price here, so it is worth buying online. This is my gold standard for floss now! Read more

I have one implant that is too close to the next tooth. The lack of space between the teeth does not allow normal floss to enter. The Listerene floss can be stretched & can enter & clean that annoying space. Read more

This is my dental floss of choice - it seems less prone to breakage than others. But it does break sometimes - my teeth are pretty close together, so I need to pay attention to what I'm doing and get all the angles right. This 10-pack was a good price too. Read more
