A great port!
I bought this game when it was still in beta testing on Steam. I’m one of many who bought this early access and I will say, they have done a fantastic job making this work on console with a controller. I’ve had 8 major back surgeries and my hands don’t work as well as they used to. Using a keyboard and mouse is difficult sometimes especially when there’s a lot on controls that needs to be done in order to play the game. It works surprisingly well for consoles. I’m running a PS5 Pro with a Samsung 85” TV and a Samsung Sound system and this game looks and sounds great. Following the “SWAT” series in the late 90’s early 2000’s this is a direct sequel to those fantastic squad based games. You’re the team lead, your roll is the eliminate the threat, secure victims and the area to make sure your team goes home at the end of your shift. Use snake cams to look underneath doors to identify perpetrators and victims, stack up on the door and send the whole team in or split the team up and go at it in different directions. Secure weapons, suspects, bag evidence, drugs, weapons and everything in between. Use lethal force as a last resort, we want these bad guys in jail, not the funeral home. Customize your load out, from primary weapons to side arms, flash bangs, grenades, lock picks, etc. you are responsible for your team. Make sure they have RR, if they’re experiencing PTSD from a recent situation, send them to a therapist, send them home for a couple days, remember, your team is your lifeline, your coworkers and most importantly, your friends.
