Not Lapis but very Nice!

I am an energy worker and prefer to wear only natural stones when I work. More than once I have been annoyed by ordering jewelry that is represented as natural/real stones and turns out to be made of resin or is dyed, heat treated, etc. Lapis is one of those stones that is notoriously misrepresented because 1) it is very rare & thus expensive & 2) Sodalite (which is almost impossible to distinguish from it if you are not a professional jeweler or rock hound) is much cheaper! So at the less than $9 price tag, I am almost positive that these are Sodalite and not Lapis (which would likely be in the $30+ range for this size). That said, they are virtually indistinguishable from each other and these are beautiful quality pieces (of Sodalite). The findings are secure. I have very sensitive ears and the hooks have not bothered me. They are a bit heavy but that's because they are a good size and REAL natural stone. Read more
