Superior to other charcoal flosses. Rarely shreds and very minty! I somehow ended up with three glass containers, bonus!!! Regardless, I will be coming back to this band because the floss and the bottles are superior. With some other brands the thread shreds, there is less thread on the spool, and/or the tops don't stay on the bottle. Read more
Fits between teeth. Doesn't fall apart or cut easily like others. Has a nice mildly-abrasive quality that really cleans. Small diameter reaches below the gumline without hurting. Read more
The original purchase was a Christmas gift for a floss crazy friend. She said this is the best floss she has ever tried and does a great job. I have since purchased for myself and agree. Again, weird Christmas gifts for a society with immediate buy gratification but floss is something no one talks about. This is a common gift with the same statements. "I thought what a weird gift but this floss is the best gift." Read more
as the headline says, the floss is nice, but i dropped the container by accident and it shattered everywhere. i should've gotten the bamboo container! but still great nonetheless. its still a pretty, more eco friendly alternative. just be careful when handling it! Read more
I love these! Easy to find the perfect spot for em since they’re so compact. They work like a dream. The thread is strong and effective. Some of my teeth are very close together but it glides between them with ease. I do feel it’s more effective than typical floss in the disposable plastic containers. And of course, they’re economical and eco friendly! I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you! =) Read more
My go-to floss. Nice and thick and the charcoal black makes it easier to gauge when teeth are clean (can easily see the white from food). Read more
I got this dental floss for environmental reasons, of course -- but I was worried that I wouldn't be able to use it because my teeth are very tightly-spaced, and even normal dental floss shreds a lot. I would typically buy the shred-resistant version -- but, even then, occasionally found the pieces shredding between my teeth. But I've been using this floss for about a week now, and it hasn't shredded a single time. Also, because it's not nearly as slippery in my hands as regular dental floss, I can use a shorter length of floss (which may ultimately offset the higher cost a bit). Anyway, yes, it's definitely more expensive than the grocery-store cheap plastic version, but it's significantly better -- not only for the environment, but also for my teeth and hands. Read more
I bought this because I'm trying to reduce use of plastics and avoid harmful chemicals (PFAS). I thought I'd give this product a try and ended up liking it even better than conventional dental floss. It is think enough to get between tight teeth and it has a bit of a texture -- not too rough but enough that I imagine it helps remove plaque. I was afraid that the charcoal might transfer to my teeth, but not at all. I'm very happy with this switch. Read more
