My husband has gone through electric razors that had no new heads that you could buy-so they basically would last 6 months and I felt like it was fifty $ down the drain each time. And occasionally once it started to get dull he would cut himself. So I took a chance and got this one because it was on sale and had good reviews. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised! A few things: * It takes half of the time of his old electric razor for a clean shave. * It has a lid to keep it clean from dust & also includes a little brush with two sides: one smaller and one bigger to reach inside and clean of hair. * his face is also clean and even looking when he shaves his face and it’s professional (he works in a law office so has to be clean shaven and look presentable). * No kicks or cuts so far, just smooth as can be. * I couldn’t find my razor one day and borrowed his for my leg hair, and despite my hair being a bit longer than a normal five o‘clock shadow. * It has a little piece on the back that clicks out that is for longer hair like side burns. * It comes with a charging cord & takes approximately 2 hours to charge fully if you are charging from a low percentage. * It also has a screen while in use that shows you how much % you have left, which is super helpful. * The only negative I notice is that I wish the razor would spin a little faster, however the slow spinning probably helps reduce the chance of any razor burn, cuts, or knicks. Overall, I was so pleasantly surprised and happy that I ended up purchasing this that I quickly bought another when it was on a 77% off sale just in case this was dropped, stopped working, or had any issues. I received the shaver quickly and found it was already charged to 100%. I am currently taking a blood thinner and using a standard razor caused nicks on occasion which bled more than I liked, so I bought this to mitigate the bleeding. This electric shaver is not only comfortable to hold, but easy on my skin with no cuts. It's quiet and very easy to clean under running water. I have never done a product review but felt compelled on this one. I had always bought the Phillips Norelco shaver in the past but thought I would give this one a chance because of the rating and price point. This has been a good decision. The first thing I noticed was how much quieter it is compared to my old shaver and I also liked that it doesn't need a charging stand, just a USB plug (that might be my only disappointment - it didn't come with one; only the cord). I particularly like the fact that there is plenty of room for the shaved hair residue in the larger compartment, rather than clogging up the shaver head, requiring cleaning.
