I have several dogs in my home who like to play with dog toys, but none of them like to play with balls. When I saw this rechargeable dog toy ball unit that lights up with different colors, I wanted to give it a try to see if my dog would actually play with it. When it arrived, I looked it over. It came in good condition. No type of damage whatsoever. It turned on immediately, but I didn't want to use it until I made sure it had a full charge before I put it out for the dogs to fully play with it. I went ahead and put it on the charger. Very easy to do. You unscrew the ball in the middle. Not hard to do. Place it on the charger. Once it's charged, screw it together. Tighten it. It doesn't get loose at all when your dogs are playing with it. My bigger dogs love it. They love, I think, the light more than anything else. I believe that's what they're following with this ball—the lights. One of my smaller dogs just had babies, and we decided to see if they would play with it. We put it in the pen with them, and they went crazy. Again, I believe it's the lights on the ball. But the bigger dogs, the smaller dogs, and our baby dogs love playing with this ball. Every night before heading to bed, I take my dog outside. She loves to play fetch one more time before heading to bed. We live in the country and near timber. I was really hoping this LED Dog Toy Ball would be a hit with my pup, especially since we like to play fetch in the evenings, but overall I’m pretty disappointed. The first thing that threw me off was the price — it’s way too high for what you actually get. For something that’s basically just a light-up rubber ball, I expected it to be at least brighter or more durable. Unfortunately, it’s neither. The light inside is pretty dim, especially if there’s any ambient light around. You can barely see it once the sun starts setting, which defeats the whole point of it being an “LED” toy. But the biggest problem for me is the warning on the packaging that says not to let your dog chew on it. I mean… it’s a dog toy ball — chewing is part of the deal! My dog loves fetch, but he’s also a chewer, so I can’t toss this without worrying he’s going to bite through it. After just one short session, I could already see teeth marks starting. For the price, I expected something sturdier and brighter. There are definitely better, cheaper LED balls out there that can actually handle a real play session. Read more

I was really surprised at how excited my dog was to play with this ball. He was afraid of the lights at first, but once he got over it, he had a ball (pun intended)! He ran around the house with it, creating somewhat of a disco light show all over the place. He threw it and kicked it for himself, he played fetch with it, and also keep-away. The ball is great quality - thick and sturdy enough for even large dogs' mouths. But it is somewhat heavy. My dog is a medium sized dog (about 25lbs) and he can carry it. The only thing I was disappointed in is that this ball does not bounce. For that reason, I don't really feel comfortable throwing it outside - I roll it for my dog when we play fetch rather than throw it. Read more

My dog absolutely loves this toy. The lights keep her super engaged and she chases it around nonstop, especially when the room is darker. It’s bright, fun, and the rechargeable feature is a huge plus since I don’t have to worry about batteries. The material feels durable enough for playtime and it’s great for both indoor and outdoor use. The only thing is that she’s a heavy chewer so I do have to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn’t start gnawing on it since it’s not really made for chewing. Did not last more than 1 dog park playtime. No chewability or durability for a very high price for what you get. I thought it would be worth the price vs the internal battery balls that burn out eventually but it was a very expensive 1 time light up ball. Very disappointed. Read more
