We have the darkest stairwell ever in our house. No windows, no wall sconces, no outlets to plug anything into. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while. I love that it's rechargeable and doesn't require batteries. It charges up fast with the cable that comes with it. It has a magnetic back or you could attach it with an adhesive strip. The instructions showed one in the picture but there wasn't one on my box. I'm not sure if it was supposed to come with one or not. But I was able to find a nail close to the surface on the wall and I slapped this little baby right on it and it stuck! Awesome! It puts out a lot of bright light. It was actually a little too much but it's OK because you can adjust the brightness which I really appreciate. There are several different colors you can choose from and there's even one that cycles through all the colors. I'd imagine kids would love that feature in their bedrooms. You have an off option, an on all the time option, or a motion sensor option. We opted for the motion sensor since we only need it when someone is using the stairs. It has a good range and clicks on when I'm several stairs away, perfectly lighting the way so I don't break my neck going up and down the stairs. It stays on for a couple minutes after activating then goes off. I've been using it for several days and haven't had to recharge it yet. The bug design might not be the most esthetically pleasing thing for a stairway, but it would be so cute for a kids room or bathroom. Great product at the right price! Read more

This KOMILIFT Rechargeable motion light arrived with one antenna broken. I didn't think the plastic would glue together well, so I removed the other one as well. It would have been so much cuter with them both intact! There are lots of lighting color choices, and they are dimmable. The lights are quite bright! They shine downwards also. I like that the bee has a magnet on the back and comes with a metal adhesive plate for easy placement. The light has been on our refrigerator for weeks with the motion sensor turning it on each time we walk by at night. It goes for a long time before needing to 'bee' charged. 🐝 Read more

The bee nightlight has so many features to offer that you could adapt this to any circumstance in your life. Its lightweight construction makes this little bee very portable. There are three shades of white along with several colors, and two display modes to cycle through all the color options. I like to turn on the slow color fade mode and ask our grandchildren to watch the light ( on a low light setting). It calms them and helps them to fall asleep quicker. The gentle changes soothes the wiggles and reassures them they won’t be left in the dark. When no children are over I put it in the hallway on motion sensor setting. Ideal for the dark of night time. I’m excited to try it camping, and with such a long battery life, it should last the whole time. Only two hours to charge, with a red light indicator then a green light to show it’s fully charged. This little light might be small, but it puts out a good amount of light. I love that you can change the colors, and the motion censor is a great touch. I decided to use this in my craft area, as my normal light is in the middle of the room. My craft area can get cluttered quickly, so having this little bee light right at the entrance gives me plenty of light to find my way to the room light without tripping over anything. I chose to use the adhesive to install it on the wall and it's holding fast. I got this cute little bug shaped night light for my daughter, who saw it over my shoulder while I was browsing amazon and thought it was “adorable”. She was delighted to find that it can be changed to various colors and dimmed as well. It triggers automatically via motion in the dark if you set it to “auto”. It charges via USB-C which is convenient since most things do these days. It has a magnet which makes it so you can mount it quickly in a variety of places. It also came with a little metal plate with an adhesive sticker if you want to mount it somewhere that isn’t already magnetic. I love that even if you use the sticker you can grab it down and carry it with you. It’s perfect for a kid to use to get around the house at night if they’re scared. Especially if there’s a power outage, since it doesn’t have to be plugged in unless the battery has run out. Mine has a few weird little discolorations on the side that won’t wipe off. They’re not a huge issue but it just makes it seem cheap and unpolished. The seams are a bit loose around the charger and the on/off switch, so that also contributes to a cheaper feel. Overall I think it’s fine for a kid, they’d probably get it dirty or damage it anyway so I wouldn’t want to spend a ton on something perfect that won’t last anyway. But if you care about the aesthetic details you might want to keep looking. Read more

Love this little light for the kid's room. I prefer to not leave a night light on as it is better to sleep without one. However, wanted something for when she gets up to go to the bathroom. This light works perfectly! The motion sensor turns on as soon as she waves her hand so she can get up without any issue. And when she comes back in the room it catches her motion. The size is perfect for sitting on a night stand. The base stays steady on a table or nightstand. Very well made, body is strong. Gives off an incredible amount of light for such a little thing. This automated bee is bigger than most motion lights that I’ve seen. It’s about the as wide as a tennis ball and is rechargeable. It mounts to most surfaces using a magnet that has a sticky backing. The motion sensor has auto on and always on. It’s very bright and can light up a dim area very well. Charges seem to last a long time. The only color on this bee is white which is what I wanted.
