This light charges quickly and keeps a good charge for several days depending on use. It works well for both an end table night light in a high traffic hallway and as a motion sense light for a construction area of our home that we currently have no electricity to so we can safely move around as needed. We originally had a concern with charging because the connection when on the base didn’t seem very sturdy but we haven’t had a problem with it as long as it is on a flat and stable surface. This is a handy light to have on an end table, bookshelf, bathroom, or wherever you want a little bit of motion-sensing light. It is LED of course and rechargeable with USB (cord provided) so no need to search for loose batteries in the junk drawer. I have not had issues with the motion sensor like some other reviewers have, but time will tell. The flashlight on one end is useful if the power goes out at night. I have been taking it with me when I walk the dog in case I drop something or the dog sniffs something and I need to see what he's after. It's easy to use as it, but an improvement would be adding a loop or hook to it so I could hang it up when I need to use both hands for a task. This nightlight is almost perfect, and I really want to love it, but it has one major flaw that makes it hard to recommend. The light on our unit only stays on for about 8 seconds no matter what settings we adjust. I don’t know if ours is defective, or if they all behave this way, but either way it’s a serious problem. Eight seconds isn’t really enough time to walk down a hallway, or go up a flight of stairs, and definitely not long enough use the bathroom. It’s basically a brief flash of light, and the motion sensor isn’t sensitive enough to reliably retrigger the light. On the positive side, the design and features are well thought out. You can choose between warm, white, or blue light, and the dimmer lets you set a very comfortable glow. The flashlight function works great. It automatically turns on when lifted from the base and switches off when set back down. USB-C charging is quick, and battery life is excellent. Over a week as a nightlight, and several hours as a flashlight. The unit seems smaller than it appears in the listing photos. I was expecting something about the size of a lava lamp, but it’s a smaller hand-sized unit. I was also disappointed that a short fall from an end table caused the top of the case to break apart. A small dab of glue fixed it, but it raises durability concerns. Even with the smaller size, and the broken top, if the light stayed on for 60 seconds (or even 15 as advertised) this would easily be a 4+ star product. As it stands, the short lighting time and weak motion sensor makes it practically unusable. Read more

This product has a couple uses that make it very versatile. You can use it as a flashlight in a rush or a nightstand/desk light. With the motion activated eye it makes it even better. The eye is ultra sensitive and picks up even a shadow going by. It is a rechargeable standalone unit so can go anywhere. Has a usb charging chord. With so many uses this light has value. My only complaint is I ordered and first was broken. I messaged and got a new one next day. This thing is fragile. My second one broke within 5 min got knocked over on my desk by my cat and it broke. literally fell off base a few inches and top light popped off that holds bulb. Read more
