These cotton rags work really well for cleaning and shop jobs and they soak up spills fast. I like that they are made from old t shirts and feel thick enough to last through tough messes. They are great for paint and grease and I use them in the garage all the time. Some pieces are a bit uneven in size and a few had loose threads but it does not stop them from working good. Overall a solid value and I would buy them again. Read more

A lot of synthetic moisture wicking clothing not cut uniformly, just randomly shredded so what you get are a lot of half shirts, pant legs and large pieces that dont clean up oil or absorb moisture and then a piece that does but it's just a small strip of a cotton shirt. Kind of frustrating as I've had boxes from other companies with uniformly cut cotton scraps that I could use for oil clean up, drying, etc. Would not recommend. Read more

These are literally recycled tshirts which make excellent rags. One thing I would say is that some of them definitely shed so depending on what you're using these for, you may want a different option if you need something totally lint free. But for general purpose shop rags these are great and it's nice not using new material for something meant to be thrown away. Read more

I've been using these recycled knit rags over the past couple of weeks, mostly for household chores and DIY projects. As someone who's used a lot of different rags and shop towels over the years, from cheap paper ones that shred to pricier microfiber options, I appreciate anything that's absorbent and holds up without falling apart. The box arrived compressed tight, which makes storage easy under the sink, and it's easy to remove individual rags from the 5 pound dispenser box. Made from cut up cotton T-shirts and polo shirts, they have that soft, familiar feel of old clothes, which translates to good pickup on grease and water-based messes. With water based messes, they rinse out decently in the sink, and a little Dawn gets out the oily messes if I don't just choose to dispose of the rags, though I still run the ones I plan to reuse through the washing machine to avoid any lingering smells. That said, the sizes vary quite a bit, which can be a drawback depending on the job since you don't really know what size you're grabbing from the dispenser box. Some pieces are just big enough to cover my palm, fine for a small job, but frustrating when you need something larger. Others are easily three times the size, which works great for bigger surfaces but feels wasteful. Overall, these rags deliver reliable cleaning power, but at today's pricing (September 29, 2025) they just aren't a good value for the money, especially if you're stocking up for hands-on work. If you can get past the high price, for every day usage they get the job done without much fuss. Read more

Well, they're t-shirt rags for sure. It's not necessarily a big deal, but the price is absurd. The only thing these should be used for is general cleaning. They're not cut in any sort of uniform shape at all. They're also not all cotton. Some of the ones I got were polyester blends. There's also lots of seams so I wouldn't suggest using them to wipe anything you don't want scratched. As a shop rag, they're ok. I'm not hating on the business model at all though. Taking someone else's junk and re-purposing them is a solid thing. They were probably picked up from yard sales and thrift stores cut up, and shoved into a box. Is it a rag? Yes. Is it made from t-shirts? Mostly. Is it a good value? No. Read more

These recycled rags are fantastic for shop use. I use them primarily for oil and brake jobs, and they work exactly as they should for shop grease, grime cleanup, and cleaning tools and hoses. They are always absorbent and made of cotton, which is the most important thing. The rags you receive are random in shape and aren't consistent squares, but that doesn't affect their utility. This is a good deal for shop use where keeping things clean saves you time and money. The box is great for dispensing the rags slowly and has a convenient handle for moving them around the workspace. However, if you are on a tight budget, I'd definitely recommend just chopping up cheap cotton clothing from a resale shop to save some money. Overall, if you need a dependable, absorbent bulk rag supply for a workshop environment, these are an excellent, convenient choice. Read more

I was really disappointed with this purchase. While the product description made these sound like quality, versatile cotton rags, what I received told a different story. Several of the rags were already stained, and I even found a few random pieces of plastic mixed in. That’s not something you expect when ordering new cleaning materials. The idea of using recycled fabric is great, but the lack of quality control makes these feel more like a box of rejects than usable cleaning rags. Definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t reorder. Read more
