Inexpensive dumbbell collar nuts that really works well.
I must admit that I was not very impressed with these dumbbell collar nuts when I first opened the package. They are made of very light weight plastic and do not look that impressive. But after testing them, these things work great to secure the weight plates onto the dumbbell handle. I am not sure why they work so well. It might be the rough pattern on the surface that touches the weight plate, but I don't really know. My current collars have been loosening up after using them for a while, so I hope that these do better in the long run. So far after using them for a while, these are working fine to secure the weight plates firmly. I was a little confused from the website ad whether you get 1 or 2 collars, but they came as a pair.
