The item arrived, well packaged, in a box that protected its contents. The remote is also the portable/rechargeable battery. The directions were reasonably well written, so getting the mask up and working was not a problem. The display on the remote is easy to read, and the mask itself is easy to operate. Just follow the directions included, and you're good to go. It came with a silky carry bag to make travelling with the mask easier. I am a bit conflicted about this mask. On one hand, I like it, but on the other I have to acknowledge that it will not replace my red light panel. I have suffered with rosacea for years. Harsh creams from the doctor could keep it at bay for short periods of time, nothing helped long term. I started using a red light panel in January to treat the rosacea. HOLY MOLY, it worked. Not an overnight cure, but consistent use 3/week. I have been symptom free for months. So, I am someone that believes in red light therapy. I wanted to love this mask, I really did, but I know it is not powerful enough to treat a persistent condition like rosacea. When I am using my red light panel, I can feel a slight warming sensation (not burning) on my skin after a few minutes. When I used this mask, with red and near infrared, I did not feel the same warming sensation. I felt nothing but my skin getting a little sweaty from having the mask against my skin. Now I know that the mask, which has the lights directly against your skin does not have to be quite as powerful, because in all red light products, distance from the light affects how powerfully the light is hitting your skin, and that affects the therapeutic effect. So, I admit, it is closer and may be doing more than I think. I just am saying I didn't feel the same/similar effect on my skin as my get from my panel. One feature the mask has, that my panel does not is the option to choose between different colors of light. I did not use the blue or yellow on my skin. I do like how small and portable it it, and it is nice that it is rechargeable. I think this mask would be good for simple skin rejuvenation, and red light exposure, but I would not expect it to treat a skin condition like rosacea. You need more powerful light for that. I will likely use this mask when I travel, being careful to clean the mask after every use, but at home I'm sticking to my panel. For the price, it's a good entry point into red light masks. It seems to be well constructed, and gives the options of other light colors. Read more

Loving this item! Easy To charge, easy to use & portable! Read more
The media could not be loaded. I've always been curious about these types of mask. As someone who values skin care I decided to give it a try. The jury's still out on the effectiveness of the varying light modes, but the functionality and design of the mask are both high-quality. The packaging this comes in is very nice. It looks like something that would've cost 2X more than what it was. The mask is secured well in the box with all the essentials needed for this to work. It even comes with a satin-like bag to store everything in. Within the box you'll find the mask, two eyelid liners, remote, charging cable and directions (which are quite helpful. I highly recommend you read them.) I like that this is a rechargeable mask. Mine actually came with a full battery so I can't report on how long it takes to charge. FIT: The mask is adjustable by using the top head and two side straps. Getting the right fit comes down to how well you tighten it. The first time wearing this, I adjusted it a little too tight and the rubber eye shields left marks around my eyes. Even the though the mask material is soft, wearing the mask is quite stiff and slightly uncomfortable. There are various timers you can use, starting at 10 minutes and going to 30. I'm not sure if I could wear this for the full 30 unless I were laying down with my eyes closed completely relaxing. I find wearing this while watching TV, scrolling on your phone, anything with distractions, is not the best when wearing for more than 10 minutes due to its restrictiveness. LIGHT MODES: I love that this provides different light modes. I feel I get a better bang for my buck. There's a red, blue and yellow light option, with an infrared light mode that works with all 3. The different light colors provide different benefits: RED = anti-aging benefits, BLUE = acne and inflammation relief, and YELLOW = balanced skin textures. The infrared light option works independently and can be used with any of these colors. Its function is to provide skin repair and moisture. You can also increase the brightness of the light. I do recommend keeping your eyes closed if using the brightest setting. EFFECTIVENESS: I've only used this 3 times. I've used the yellow once and the blue twice after a breakout. I'll be honest and say I didn't see any dramatic results. My breakout didn't decrease any, but I guess I could see a slight difference in how irritated the breakout looked. It wasn't as red and splotchy. The directions do say to use this 2-3 times a week to notice results. I'm hoping with more consistent use I can start to see the benefits. Overall, for the price point, I'd say this is a decent mask, especially for someone who is more curious and not as hardcore when it comes to skincare. Like I said earlier, I do value good skin and take time to make sure I wash my face and apply the proper serums twice daily, but for me this is just an added bonus to that routine. I'm not hoping for a miracle here. Everyone ages, so light therapy is not going to stop this by any means. If it helps to balance my texture and help with the occasional breakout, then yeah, it's a win for me. Read more

CHEAP AND CHEAPLY DESIGNED. it's tough to keep it on the face. the velcro is really weak and fitment to face is poor, as a result, it barely stays on the face. Read more
