When this first came in, I wasn't sure if this was going to be comfortable to awkward to wear. Its actually really comfortable to have on and its adjustable. The light on this mask is a big bright, but I found that if I wear it and close my eyes, you hardly even notice it. This can be worn sitting up, but for me, I wear this while laying down just because its a bit more comfortable for me. I have been using this mask for about a month now and not only is it easy but I have started noticing that my deep crow's feet have actually started becoming not so deep. I do wash my face before using this, but I also found that I can easily wipe this down with no issues. Even with using a basic wipe, the led lights and mask itself still work just as it should. I don't have too many deep and set in wrinkles but I have noticed the crow's feet and that my cheeks have a bit more bounce to them. Read more

The SMOOTHPRO Red Light therapy Mask is the latest in the line of products using this novel approach to self-care. Unlike others where a bank of lights is setup and aimed at a part of the body, this product is an actual mask that you wear on your face for even more control and exposure to the lights itself. The unit is pliable enough to wrap around your face with bands that help keep it in place. I do wish it were a little larger for people with big heads like mine. Not that I have much beauty to manage, but time will tell of any effects it might have. I found it to be comfortable to wear, and will be on the lookout for even more products using this therapy in the future. Read more

I have been looking into red light mask for awhile and I'm really liking this one! What I am looking to use it for is more aging than acne. This mask does both. The blue light is for acne. I don't really have a use for it right now, but it's nice that there is the option in case my skin decides to get hormonal and weird. The main things I wanted is the correct wavelength and that it is comfortable enough and easy enough to use that I actually will use it! This one is a solid red light choice as the wavelength is specified at 625nm (it is not near-infrared, those are upwards of 810-850nm). I also wanted to the proper irradiance, which is related to how much light is delivered and lets you use it for a shorter period of time. This one has 30 mW/cm2, which is well within the recommended range of 20-50. As for comfort it is fine. It's a big thick silicone mask so I feel like it is comparable to all the other ones. The quality is solid but I did have a few notes. The button area on mine is a little discolored. I was worried that meant it had already been used and returned but after adjusting the straps I am 100% that is not the case. It is just discolored. Now, on to the straps. They are thick and sturdy. I really had to work on one side to adjust it as it has teeth that were a bit tight. This is how I know it is new because it was so tight the silicone started pealing. I added pictures of both things I noted. Neither affects the nice appearance or effective use of the mask. I did see a few in this price point with a detachable neck/ chest piece which might be nice, but after using also might be unnecessary. So, I popped in my ear buds loaded up an audiobook and used it on my face without issue. I know they say its safe for your eyes but I'm very particular about that so I wore the glasses I have for when I use my IPL Laser. I'm going to look into getting some smaller ones (maybe like tanning bed) so they will fit better. I then moved it to my neck/ chest area which seemed fine. Then I sat up and used it on my head/ scalp area (it's all the same light) it actually balanced up there super easy. The cord is six feet so very easy to move around and use comfortably. Then the next day my chest and neck area looked like I have a heat rash. I think what happened was that area got dosed when I did my face and then more directly when I did that area specifically. I'm going to let it heal up then make sure I cover it when I do my face and maybe only try that area for a shorter period of time. Just try to be more specific. My chest and neck are very sensitive so this isn't surprising, but if you too have that, it is something to be aware of. Effectiveness will take some time so I'll have to circle back with an update in a few months. But, initially very good option for a red light therapy mask. Some quick notes: The blue light is for acne. It is recommended that you use it every 3 days. It is not wireless or rechargeable. You must keep it plugged in. It does have a 10 minute auto shut-off feature. And, it is fairly comfortable to wear, the band is quite sturdy. Read more

I’ve been using this red light therapy mask for a little over two months now, and I’m honestly surprised by how quickly I’ve started to notice small changes. I didn’t expect much at first because it’s lightweight, silicone, and looks pretty simple, but the even glow it gives off seems to work better than a couple of the bulkier devices I’ve tried before. The 10-minute sessions are easy to fit into my routine, and the wired setup isn’t as inconvenient as I thought; it actually keeps the light consistent the whole time. I mainly wanted something to help with the uneven patches on my cheeks and a few fine lines around my mouth, and those areas look a bit smoother and less dull after daily use. It’s not a dramatic overnight transformation, but the texture of my skin feels nicer and makeup sits better now. The mask is soft and comfortable enough that I don’t mind wearing it, though the straps could be improved. Read more

This is very comfortable to wear and the preset timer allows just enough therapy. The 2 settings provide different benifits and I found it to be bright, but not too bright for the eyes. The mask is made of a rubber material which is flexible and durable. I believe I find rhe therapy effective and it does not irratate my skin. Read more

I was really excited to try this red light mask after seeing all of the skin benefits. It is very comfortable to wear and you only use it for short periods of time. It is incredibly bright so I don't recommend looking at the light directly or keeping your eyes open when using. Just take few minutes to close your eyes and rest! The value is a little high but I do believe it's working as I've since improvement in my overall skin tone since using. I'm excited to see long term benefits as I continue with regular weekly use.
